Anguilla: An island parish documentary

Through this presentation I will showing screenshots of a documentary I have watched which is similar to the style I want to create.

And analysing the images with media terminology to get an idea of the types of

shots/angles and animations I should be using in my documentary.

Page 2: Anguilla

The documentary starts with a map to give the audience a clear understanding about where the documentary is set.

Page 3: Anguilla

The use of wide shot is able to catch natural footage of the public to truly reflect the natural environment of Antigua.

A follow pan tracking the car helps to create a journey and makes the audience feel as if they are there.

Low angle shot

Wide low angle shot – helps to capture the picturesque essence of the footage.

The title is introduced a few minutes into the doc, this is which allows an introduction and the audience to be pulled into the video as it gives them taste of what the whole video will be about.

The documentary is finished with text displaying the production. – which I think is important to display what was actually done to create the documentary and it also enhances the professionalism of the video.
