Together lets celebrate and honor the lives of those who

have passed too soon.

The Westhope Area Angel of Hope group leaders are excited to announce that they will be putting on a celebratory walk June 7th to honor the lives of loved ones, young and old, that have been lost. All proceeds will go to the erecting of the Angel of Hope Statue. Anyone can start a team and participate in the walk. The day will be full of activities for all ages, so bring the little ones. How the walk works After registration, and an opening ceremony the walk will start and each team is suggested to have at least one of their teammates walking at all times. You could have as many as you want walking or just one person, any duration they feel comfortable with. A silent auction will be held and the Westhope-Newburg Cheerleaders will lead fun activities every hour for the kids that attend. The day will commence with a closing ceremony and supper put on by the Antler Outlaws at the football field. You can contact Robin Tolstad (263-5711) or Becky Braaten (263-7422) and they will give you one. Pick one up at Opdahls Grocery Store in Westhope. Print the one at the end of this information packet.

Please return to Robin ASAP. Fill out the sheet including all of the participants on the team. You can have up to 22 people on a team. It is important to return this form in a timely manner so the t-shirt orders can be processed.

T-shirt orders Each team will receive 12 free custom screen-printed HOPE commemorate t-shirts for participating. Any more than 12 will need to purchase the t-shirts. The t-shirts will be for sale at the walk. The t-shirts can be ordered in youth and adult sizes.

T-shirt Sponsorship Businesses or families can have their names placed on the back of each t-shirt by making donations of $500.00 or larger. Sponsorships must be received no later than May 23, 2014

Team Booths All while the walk is going on, each team is suggested to set up and run a team booth to fundraise. It can be anything simple. For example one team is selling popcorn and water, or one could have a gaming station. Silent Auction We are hoping each team can bring an item or gift basket to be auctioned off during the walk. We would like to have an idea of what the estimated value of the item/basket was.

Luminaries Bags can be purchased from Becky, Robin or Christy Lee. Decorate your bag in memory of your loved one, and bring it to the football field to be placed.
