Personal Statement

Over 29 years of construction experience – full envelope projects.

I am a Confident, perceptive and diligent individual with over 28 years of construction industry experience, able to drive projects with a positive attitude that inspires an encouraging man management approach taking responsibility and ownership of all aspects of the project i am involved in.

At present, I am working in China – PCB - Hong Kong, Macau to Zhuhai crossing managing and constructing a roof structure off site to sail across to Hong Kong to install into their final position defining and communicating project objectives that are clear, useful and attainable. Construction manager in Hong Kong/China building roof cassettes in china completing to roof sections then sailing across to Hong Kong to install and infill.

Oversee a multi-national site management team, including health and safety, QA/QC and logistics.

Material scheduling Programming works and completion programmes. procurement, scheduling, orders for manufacturing, Relaying information to allow correct scheduling of materials and reducing materials. On site problem solving, programming materials for delivery as needed for installation quality of installation, controlling drawings and details to each work area, Attending client meetings and producing progress reports, hand over certificates and

QA documents. Coaching multi-nationals works to carry out construction tasks effectively and

efficiently. Dealing with a number of other site issues as they arise.

May 2012 till February 2013 managing a large rain screen/ curtain walling project at the Manchester metropolitan university for GM Services, Manchester uk (on a short 1 year contract)

building pods in kal zip for Gatwick airport UK, standing seam roofing system November –December 2012 (on a short contract)

August 2011 to May 2012 – assistant projects manager for Astec Projects on Blackfriars train Station south – London. Consisting of glass, steel and façades (on a short contract)

May 2007 – august 2011 contracts manager - construction manager with CDW LTD roofing, glazing, curtain walling, rain screens and many more systems.

2001 – 2007 fitter of roofs/rain screen and glazing of various brands (kal zip, single ply’s membranes, schocco systems, planer glazing and many other cladding and insulated panel systems.

1999 to May 2001 – During this period I was a Self-employed fitter working for various employers. Lakesmere. Kelsey. Stamford pickards and many more

Key skills and achievements

Management skills Control site set ups and produce site specific method statements and risk
