She is currently a cellist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, enjoying working closely with both Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians and Yo-Yo Ma. She is grateful to know and have the opportunity to create great chamber music with wonderful musicians from the DC area. She looks forward to her next time in DC, where she will be performing her original score for Tom Block's latest play "Butterfly" - to be performed in February 2013.

The DC Chamber Music Players (DCCMP) Meetup group is a collection of classical musicians interested in playing chamber music for fun. The majority of members are amateur musicians. While good music is the goal, the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment. DCCMP promotes a collegial, congenial and non-competitive environment in which all musicians will feel comfortable. The group was founded in July, 2007 and presently has 200 members. With the arrival of conductor Rob Goeke in Autumn, 2011, the chamber orchestra was formed as a major activity within DCCMP. Mr. Goeke serves as Music Director of the orchestra, and Bob Myers, founder of DCCMP, serves as Managing Director. This is the DCCMP Orchestra's second public performance. For this concert, the Orchestra welcomes several guest musicians from the Takoma Park Community Band, the COSMIC (Chamber Orchestra of Southern Maryland In Concert) Orchestra and free-lancers. The orchestra appears in this "Music with the Angels" concert series at the invitation of Mila Naumova-Roushakes and the Church of the Holy City.
