Precautionary Statements

Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals

CAUTION. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed throughskin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact witheyes, skin or clothing.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Some materials that are chemically resistant to thisproduct are listed below. For more options, refer toCategory A on an EPA chemical-resistance categoryselection chart.

Applicators and other handlers must wear:

• Long-sleeved shirt and long pants• Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof mate-

rial (such as nitrite, butyl, neoprene, and/or barrierlaminate)

. • Shoes plus socks

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning andmaintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washablesexist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPEseparately from other laundry.

Engineering Controls Statement

When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or air-craft in a manner that meets the requirements listed in theWorker Protection Standard (WPS) for agriculturalpesticides [40 CFR 170.240(d)(4-6)], the handler PPErequirements may be reduced or modified as specified inthe WPS.

USER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Users should:

• Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum,using tobacco, or using the toilet.

• Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide getsinside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

• Remove PPE immediately after handling this product.Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soonas possible, wash thoroughly and change into cleanclothing.

Environmental Hazards

This product may contaminate water through drift of sprayin wind. This product has a potential for runoff for severalmonths or more after application. Poorly draining soils andsoils with shallow water tables are more prone to producerunoff that contains this product. A level, well-maintainedvegetative buffer strip between areas to which this productis applied and surface water features such as ponds,streams, and springs will reduce the potential for contami-nation of water from rainfall runoff. Runoff of this productwill be reduced by avoiding applications when rainfall isforecast to occur within 48 hours. Sound erosion controlpractices will reduce this product's contribution to surfacewater contamination.

This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates.Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms inwater adjacent to treated areas. DO NOT apply directly towater, areas where surface water is present, or intertidalareas below the mean high water mark. DO NOT contam-inate water when disposing of equipment washwaters orrinsate.

Groundwater AdvisoryThis chemical has properties and characteristics associat-ed with chemicals detected in groundwater. This chemicalmay leach into groundwater if used in areas where soilsare permeable, particularly where the water table is shal-low.

Directions For UseIt is a violation of federal'law to use this product in a man-ner inconsistent with its labeling. DO NOT apply thisproduct in a way that will contact workers or other per-sons, either directly or through drift. Only protectedhandlers may be in the area during application. For anyrequirements specific to your state or tribe, consult theagency responsible for pesticide regulation.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS

Use this product only in accordance with its labeling andwith the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR part 170.This standard contains requirements for the protection ofagricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, andgreenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. Itcontains requirements for training, decontamination,notification, and emergency assistance. It also containsspecific instructions and exceptions pertaining to thestatements on this label about personal protective equip-ment (PPE), notification to workers, and restricted-entryinterval. The requirements in this box only apply to usesof this product that are covered by the Worker ProtectionStandard.

DO NOT enter or allow worker entry into treated areasduring the restricted-entry interval (REI) of 12 hours for allcrop uses except when performing cane tying, cane turn-ing or cane girdling on grapes. The REI is 5 days fortreated grapes when conducting cane tying, cane turningor cane girdling.

PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is per-mitted under the Worker Protection Standard and thatinvolves contact with anything that has been treated,such as plants, soil, or water, is:

• Coveralls• Chemical-resistant gloves, made of any waterproof

material (such as nitrile, butyl, neoprene, and/or barrierlaminate)

• Shoes plus socks

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

DO NOT contaminate water, food, or feed by storage ordisposal.

Pesticide StorageStore in original containers only. Keep container closedwhen not in use. DO NOT store near food or feed.

Pesticide DisposalWastes resulting from using this product may be dis-posed of on-site or at an approved waste disposal facili-ty. If these wastes cannot be disposed of according tolabel instructions, contact your State Pesticide orEnvironmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Wasterepresentatives at the nearest EPA Regional Office forguidance.

Container HandlingNonrefillable Container. DO NOT reuse or refill thiscontainer. Triple rinse or pressure rinse container(or equivalent) promptly after emptying. Then offer forrecycling, if available, or puncture and dispose of in anapproved sanitary landfill, or by incineration, or, if allowedby state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stayout of smoke.

Triple rinse containers small enough to shake(capacity <, 50 pounds) as follows: Empty the remain-ing contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fillthe container 1/4 full with water and recap. Shake for10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or amix tank, or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drainfor 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat thisprocedure two more times.

Triple rinse containers too large to shake (capaci-ty > 50 pounds) as follows: Empty the remaining con-tents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill thecontainer 1/4 full with water. Replace and tighten clo-sures. Tip container on its side and roll it back and forth,ensuring at least one complete revolution, for 30 sec-onds. Stand the container on its end and tip it back andforth several times. Turn the container over onto its otherend and tip it back and forth several times. Empty the rin-sate into application equipment or a mix tank, or storerinsate for later use or disposal. Repeat this proceduretwo more times.

Pressure rinse as follows: Empty the remaining con-tents into application equipment or mix tank. Holdcontainer upside down over application equipment or mixtank, or collect rinsate for later use or disposal. Insertpressure rinsing nozzle in the side of the container andrinse at about 40 PSI for at least 30 seconds. Drain for10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.

Steps to be taken in case material is released orspilled:

• In case of spill on floor or paved surfaces, mop andremove to chemical waste storage area until proper dis-posal can be made if product cannot be used accordingto label.

• Dike and contain the spill with inert material (sand, earth,etc.) and transfer liquid and solid diking material to sepa-rate containers for disposal.

• Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected skinareas with soap and water.

• Wash clothing before reuse.• Keep the spill out of all sewers and open bodies of

water.

Product Information

This package contains Cabrio® EG fungicide, a water-dispersible granule (EG). The active ingredient in Cabrio,pyraclostrobin, is a member of the strobilurin class ofchemistry and is derived from a natural antifungal sub-stance. Preventive applications optimize disease controlresulting in improved plant health. The increase in planthealth comes from the combined effect of disease control(including fungal diseases listed in Crop-specific direc-tions), improved growth efficiency and improved stress tol-erance. Overall increased plant health may result in animprovement in crop growth and crop quality as well asincreased crop yields. To maximize disease control, applyCabrio in a regularly scheduled protective spray programand use in a rotation program with other fungicides.

Because of its high specific activity, Cabrio has goodresidual activity against target fungi.

Cabrio is not for use in greenhouse or transplantproduction.

Mode of Action

Pyraclostrobin, the active ingredient of Cabrio, belongs tothe group of respiration inhibitors classified by the US EPAand Canada PMRA.as quinone outside inhibitors (Qol), ortarget site of action,Group 11 fungicides.

Resistance Management

Cabrio contains pyraclostrobin, a Group 11 fungicide,and is effective against pathogens resistant to fungicideswith modes of action different from those of Qol fungicides(target site Group 11), such as dicarboximides, sterolinhibitors, benzimidazoles, or phenylamides.

Fungal isolates resistant to Group 11 fungicides, such aspyraclostrobin, azoxystrobin, fluoxastrobin, trifloxystrobin,and kresoxim-methyl, can eventually dominate the fungalpopulation if Group 11 fungicides are used predominantlyand repeatedly in the same field in successive years as theprimary method of control for the targeted pathogenspecies. This can result in reduction of disease control byCabrio or other Group 11 fungicides.

To maintain the performance of Cabrio in the field,DO NOT exceed the maximum seasonal use rate or thetotal number of applications of Cabrio per season and themaximum number of applications of Cabrio stated inRestrictions and Limitations - All Crops and Table 2.Cabrio® EG fungicide Crop-specific Requirements.Follow label instructions regarding the use of Cabrio orother target site of action Group 11 fungicides that have asimilar site of action on the same pathogens.

When using a Group 11 fungicide as a solo product, thenumber of applications must be no more than 1/3 of thetotal number of fungicide applications per season.

In programs in which tank mixes or pre-mixes of aGroup 11 fungicide with a fungicide of another group areused, the number of Group 11 fungicide (Qol)-containingapplications must be no more than 1/2 of the total numberof fungicide applications per season.

In programs in which applications of Group 11 fungicidesare made with both solo products and mixtures, the num-ber of Group 11 fungicide (Qol)-containing applicationsmust be no more than 1/2 of the total number of fungicideapplications per season.

In fungicide alternation programs of Group 11 (Qol)-containing fungicides with non-Group 11 fungicides ofdifferent modes of action, the maximum number ofsequential applications stated in the Restrictions andLimitations - All Crops and Table 2. Cabrio® EG fungi-cide Crop-specific Requirements, must be alternatedwith at least an equal number of applications of a non-Group 11-containing fungicide prior to using the Group11 (Qol)-containing fungicide again. For example, in caseswhere two sequential applications of a Group 11 (Qol)-containing fungicide are made, follow this block of applica-tions by two or more applications of a non-Group 11 -containing fungicide before using the Group 11 (Qol)-con-taining fungicide again.

Resistance Management AdvisoryThe following instructions can delay the development offungicide resistance:

1. Tank mixtures - Use tank mixtures with effective fungi-cides from different target site of action groups that are

registered/permitted for the same use and that .are effec-tive against the pathogens of concern. Use at least theminimum labeled rates of each fungicide in the tank mix.

2. IPM - Integrate Cabrio® EG fungicide into an overalldisease and pest management program. Follow culturalpractices known to reduce disease development. Consultyour local extension specialist, certified crop advisorand/or BASF representative for additional IPM strategiesestablished for your area. Cabrio can be used in agricul-tural extension advisory (disease forecasting) programswhich recommend application timing based on environ-mental factors favorable for disease development.

3. Monitoring - Monitor efficacy of all fungicides used inthe disease management program against the targetedpathogen and record other factors that may influence fun-gicide performance and/or disease development. If aGroup 11 target site fungicide, such as Cabrio, appearsto be less effective against a pathogen that it previouslycontrolled or suppressed, contact a BASF representative,local extension specialist, or certified crop advisor for fur-ther investigation.

Application Instructions

Apply Cabrio rates as instructed in Table 2. Cabrio* EGfungicide Crop-specific Requirements. Apply Cabriowith ground sprayer, aerial equipment or through sprinklerirrigation equipment. Check equipment frequently for cali-bration.

Under low-level disease conditions, use minimum applica-tion rates. For severe or threatening disease conditions,use the maximum application rates and shortened sprayintervals.

Cleaning Spray EquipmentClean spray equipment thoroughly before and after apply-ing this product, particularly if a product with potential toinjure crops was used prior to Cabrio.

Ground Application

Apply Cabrio in sufficient water to ensure thorough cover-age of foliage, blooms, and fruit. Thorough coverage isrequired for optimum disease control. Complete coverageof the stem, all the way down to the soil, is required forsuppression of soilborne diseases of the stem.

Aerial Application

Use no less than 5 gallons of spray solution per acre. Foraerial application to tree crops, use no less than 10 gallonsof spray solution per acre. DO NOT apply when condi-tions favor drift from target area.

For aerial application in New York State, DO NOTapply within 100 feet of aquatic habitats (such as,but not limited to lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams,marshes, ponds, estuaries, and commercial fishponds).

rSpray Drift Management

DO NOT spray when conditions favor drift beyond areaintended for application. Conditions that may contribute todrift include thermal inversion, wind speed and direction,spray nozzle/pressure combinations, spray droplet size,,temperature/humidity, etc. Contact your state extensionagent for spray drift prevention guidelines in your area. Allaerial and ground application equipment must be properlymaintained and calibrated using appropriate carriers.Avoiding spray drift at the application site is the responsi-bility of the applicator.

Aerial Application Methods and EquipmentThe interaction of many equipment-related and weather-related factors determines the potential for spray drift. Theapplicator and the grower are responsible for consideringall these factors when making decisions.

DO NOT apply under circumstances where possible driftto unprotected persons, to food, forage, or other plantingsthat might be damaged, or crops thereof rendered unfit forsale, use or consumption can occur. .

DO NOT release spray at a height greater than 10 feetabove the crop canopy unless a greater height is requiredfor aircraft safety.

The following drift management requirements must befollowed to avoid off-target drift movement from aerialapplications to agricultural field crops. These requirementsDO NOT apply to forestry applications, public health usesor to applications using dry formulations.

1. The distance of the outermost nozzles on the boommust not exceed 3/4 the length of the fixed wingspan or90% of rotor blade diameter.

2. Nozzles must always point backward parallel with theair stream and never be pointed downward more than45 degrees.

Where states have more stringent regulations, they mustbe observed.

The applicator must be familiar with and take into accountthe information covered in the aerial drift reduction adviso-ry information.

Information on Droplet SizeThe most effective way to reduce drift potential is to applylarge droplets. Use the largest droplet size consistent withacceptable efficacy. Applying larger droplets reduces driftpotential but will not prevent drift if applications are madeimproperly or under unfavorable environmental conditions(see Wind; Temperature and Humidity; andTemperature Inversions).

Controlling droplet size

• Volume - Use high flow rate nozzles to apply the highestpractical spray volume. Nozzles with higher rated flowsproduce larger droplets.

• Pressure - DO NOT exceed the nozzle manufacturer'srecommended pressures. For many nozzle types, lowerpressure produces larger droplets. When higher flow

rates are needed, use higher flow rate nozzles instead ofincreasing pressure.

• Number of Nozzles - Use the minimum number ofnozzles that provide uniform coverage.

• Nozzle Orientation - Orienting nozzles so that thespray is released parallel to the airstream produces larg-er droplets than other orientations and is recommendedpractice. Significant deflection from the horizontal willreduce droplet size and increase drift potential.

• Nozzle Type - Use a nozzle type that is designed forthe intended application. With most nozzle types, nar-rower spray angles produce larger droplets. Considerusing low-drift nozzles. Solid-stream nozzles orientedstraight back produce the largest droplets and the low-est drift.

WindDO NOT apply at wind speeds greater than 15 mph. Driftpotential is lowest when wind speed does not'exceed10 mph. However, many factors, including droplet sizeand equipment type, determine drift potential at any givenspeed. Avoid applications below 2 mph due to variablewind direction and high inversion potential. Local terraincan influence wind patterns. Every applicator must befamiliar with local wind patterns and how they affect spraydrift.

Temperature and HumidityLow humidity and high temperatures increase the evapo-ration of spray droplets and, therefore, the likelihood ofincreased spray drift. Avoid spraying during conditions oflow humidity and/or high temperatures. When makingapplications in low relative humidity, set up equipment toproduce larger droplets to compensate for evaporation.Droplet evaporation is most severe when conditions areboth hot and dry.

Temperature InversionsApplications must not occur during a temperature inver-sion because drift potential is high. Temperature inversionsrestrict vertical air mixing, which causes small suspendeddroplets to remain in a concentrated cloud. This cloud canmove in unpredictable directions due to the light, variablewinds common during inversions. Temperature inversionsare characterized by increasing temperatures with altitudeand are common on nights with limited cloud cover andlight-to-no wind. They begin to form as the sun sets andoften continue into the morning. Their presence can beindicated by ground fog; however, if fog is not present,inversions can also be identified by the movement ofsmoke from a ground source or an aircraft smoke genera-tor. Smoke that layers and moves laterally in a concentrat-ed cloud (under low wind conditions) indicates an inver-sion, while smoke that moves upward and rapidly dissi-pates indicates good vertical air mixing.

Sensitive AreasThe pesticide must only be applied when the potential fordrift to adjacent sensitive areas (e.g. bodies of water ornontarget crops) is minimal and when wind is blowingaway from the sensitive areas.

rDirections For Use Through SprinklerIrrigation Systems

Sprayer Preparation

Chemical tank and injector system must be thoroughlycleaned. Flush system with clean water.

Application InstructionsApply Cabrio® EG fungicide at rates and timings asrequired in this label.

Use Precautions for Sprinkler IrrigationApplications

• Apply this product only through sprinkler irrigation sys-tems including center pivot, lateral move, end tow, side[wheel] roll, traveler, big gun, solid set, or hand moveirrigation systems. DO NOT apply this product throughany other type of irrigation system.

• Add this product to the pesticide supply tank containingsufficient water to maintain a continuous flow by theinjection equipment. In continuous moving systems,inject this product-water mixture continuously, applyingthe labeled rate per acre for that crop. DO NOT exceed1/2 inch (13,577 gallons) per acre. In stationary or non-continuous moving systems, inject the product-watermixture in the last 15 to 30 minutes of each set allowingsufficient time for all of the required pesticide to beapplied by all the sprinkler heads and applying thelabeled rate per acre for that crop. DO NOT apply whenwind speed favors drift beyond the area intended fortreatment. Crop injury, lack of effectiveness, or illegalpesticide residues in the crop can result from non-uniform distribution of treated water. Thorough coverageof foliage is required for good control. Maintain good agi-tation during the entire application period.

• The system must contain a functional check valve,vacuum-relief valve, and low-pressure drain appropriatelylocated on the irrigation pipeline to prevent water-sourcecontamination from backflow.

• The pesticide injection pipeline must contain a function-al, automatic, quick-closing check valve to prevent theflow of fluid back toward the injection pump.

• The pesticide injection pipeline must also contain a func-tional, normally closed, solenoid-operated valve locatedon the intake side of the injection pump and connectedto the system interlock to prevent fluid from being with-drawn from the. supply tank when the irrigation system iseither automatically or manually shut down.

• The system must contain functional interlocking controlsto automatically shut off the pesticide injection pumpwhen the water pump motor stops.

• The irrigation line or water pump must include a func-tional pressure switch which will stop the water pump

rmotor when the water pressure decreases to the pointwhere pesticide distribution is adversely affected.

• Systems must use a metering pump, such as a positivedisplacement injection pump (e.g. diaphragm pump),effectively designed and constructed of materials thatare compatible with pesticides and capable of being fit-ted with a system interlock.

• Allow sufficient time for pesticide to be flushed throughall lines and all nozzles before turning off irrigation water.A person knowledgeable of the chemigation system andresponsible for its operation, or under supervision of theresponsible person, shall shut the system down andmake necessary adjustments should the need arise.

• DO NOT connect an irrigation system (including green-house systems) used for pesticide application to a publicwater system unless the pesticide label-prescribed safe-ty devices for public water systems are in place.

Specific Instructions for Public WaterSystems

1. Public water system means a system for the provisionto the public of piped water for human consumption ifsuch system has at least 15 service connections or reg-ularly serves an average of at least 25 individuals dailyat least 60 days out of the year.

2. Chemigation systems connected to .public water systemsmust contain a functional, reduced-pressure zone, back-flow preventer (RPZ) or the functional equivalent in thewater supply line upstream from the point of pesticideintroduction. As an option to the RPZ, the water from thepublic water system must be discharged into a reservoirtank prior to pesticide introduction. There shall be a com-plete physical break (air gap) between the outlet end ofthe fill pipe and the top or overflow rim of the reservoirtank of at least twice the inside diameter of the fill pipe.

3. The pesticide injection pipeline must contain a func-tional, automatic, quick-closing check valve to preventthe flow of fluid back toward the injection pump.

4. The pesticide injection pipeline must contain a function-al, normally closed, solenoid-operated valve located onthe intake side of the injection pump and connected tothe system interlock to prevent fluid from being with-drawn from the supply tank when the irrigation systemis either automatically or manually shut down.

5. The system must contain functional interlocking con-trols to automatically shut off the pesticide injectionpump when the water pump motor stops, or in caseswhere there is no water pump, when the water pressuredecreases to the point where pesticide distribution isadversely affected.

Additives and General TankMixing Information

Cabrio® EG fungicide can be tank mixed with mostrecommended fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, liquidfertilizers, biological control products, adjuvants, and addi-tives as specified in Table 2. Cabrio8 EG fungicideCrop-specific Requirements.

Under some conditions, the use of additives or adjuvantsmay improve the performance of Cabrio. However, allvarieties and cultivars have not been tested with possibletank mix combinations. Local conditions can also influ-ence crop tolerance and may not match those underwhich BASF has conducted testing. Physical incompatibili-ty, reduced disease control, or crop injury may result frommixing Cabrio with other products. Therefore, beforeusing any tank mix (fungicides, insecticides, herbicides,liquid fertilizers, biological control products, adjuvants, andadditives), test the combination on a small portion of thecrop to be treated to ensure that a phytotoxic responsewill not occur as a result of application.

When an adjuvant is to be used with this product, BASFrecommends the use of a Chemical Producers andDistributors Association certified adjuvant. Consult a BASFrepresentative or local agricultural authorities for moreinformation concerning additives.

Mixing Order

1. Water - Begin by agitating a thoroughly clean sprayertank 3/4 full of clean water.

2. Agitation - Maintain constant agitation throughout mix-ing and application.

3. Inductor - If an inductor is used, rinse it thoroughlyafter each component has been added.

4. Products in PVA bags - Place any product containedin water-soluble PVA bags jnto the mixing tank. Waituntil all water-soluble PVA bags have fully dissolved andthe product is evenly mixed in the spray tank beforecontinuing.

5. Water-dispersible products (such as Cabrio, dryflowables, wettable powders, suspension concentrates,or suspo-emulsions)

6. Water-soluble products7. Emulsifiable concentrates (such as oil concentrates

Restrictions and Limitations -All Crops

• DO NOT use Cabrio in greenhouse or transplant pro-duction.

Crop Rotation Restriction

Crops listed on the Cabrio, Headline® fungicide andPristine® fungicide labels can be planted immediately fol-lowing the last application. For all other crops, DO NOTplant sooner than 14 days after the last application.

Ground Application Directed or BandedSprays

The application rates shown in the following tables pertainto both aerial and ground (broadcast) methods of applica-tion. Cabrio can also be applied as a directed or bandedspray over the rows or plant beds, with alleys or rowmiddles left unsprayed. For such uses, reduce the rate ofCabrio in proportion to the area actually sprayed. Use thisadjustment to prevent applying the product at use rateshigher than permitted on this label.

Use the following formula to determine the broadcastequivalent rate for doing directed or banded sprays:

sprayed bed width + unsprayed row middles width= total row width

Example: A directed spray application will be made to45 inches plant beds that are separated by 15 inches ofunsprayed row middles.

Tank Mixes with Adjuvants and Other Products. BASFevaluations indicate that tank mixes of additives,adjuvants, and/or other products with Cabrio on cucurbitvegetables may result in injury. This is particularly true formuskmelon crops such as cantaloupe and honeydew.Users need to be aware of this, proceed with caution, andtest for crop safety when tank mixing, as stated below.

Applications of additives, adjuvants, and/or other productsthat increase penetration may cause injury when mixedwith Cabrio. Injury potential from these kinds of tankmixes may decrease with lower rates of the tank mixpartner. Users are advised to test for crop safety, as statedbelow.

BASF has not tested all varieties and cultivars with allpossible tank mix combinations and rates of additives,adjuvants, and/or other products. Local environmentalconditions also influence crop tolerance and may notmatch those under which BASF has conducted testing.Physical incompatibility, reduced disease control, or cropinjury may result from mixing Cabrio with other products.

To the extent consistent with applicable law, the userassumes all risks associated with adding products to theCabrio spray solution, Refer also to the Conditions ofSale and Warranty section of this label.

To minimize the likelihood of crop injury, BASFrecommends testing Cabrio in combination with additives,adjuvants, and/or other products for crop safety on a smallportion of the crop. However, environmental variabilityprecludes direct and consistent projection of small areatest results to future use.

Consult a BASF representative for more informationconcerning additives or adjuvants.

fFruiting Vegetables Group InformationApplication Directions. Begin applications of Cabrio®EG fungicide prior to disease development and continueon a 7- to 14-day interval for anthracnose, black mold,early blight, powdery mildew, Septoria leaf spot, and targetspot. For control of late blight, begin applications prior todisease development, then follow each application ofCabrio with a labeled fungicide with a different mode ofaction 5 to 7 days later. Use the higher rate and the short-er interval when disease pressure is high.

** For applications based on dilute volume, spray plants torunoff. Apply a minimum of 20 gallons of spray volume peracre, and increase the spray volume as the plants growduring the season. Spray proportional volume to theamount of plant tissue to be covered such that 100 gal-lons of spray per acre is used on mature plants.

Use of Adjuvants. The use of additives or adjuvants mayimprove the performance of Cabrio on fruiting vegetables.However, BASF evaluations also indicate that under someconditions (particularly high temperatures and/or highadditive rates), application of Cabrio in combination withcertain rates of silicone-based or oil-containing (petroleumor crop) additives or adjuvants can cause injury.

BASF has not tested all varieties and cultivars with all pos-sible tank mix combinations and rates of additives or adju-vants. Local environmental conditions also influence croptolerance and may not match those under which BASFhas conducted testing. Physical incompatibility, reduced.disease control, or crop injury may result from mixingCabrio with other products.

To the extent consistent with applicable law, the userassumes all risks associated with adding products to theCabrio spray solution. BASF cannot be held responsiblefor crop injury, reduced disease control or incompatibilitydue to additives, adjuvants or other products used in com-bination with Cabrio. Refer also to the Conditions ofSale and Warranty section of this label.

To minimize the likelihood of crop injury, BASF recom-mends testing Cabrio in combination with other productsfor crop safety on a small portion of the crop. However,environmental variability precludes direct and consistentprojection of small area test results to future use.

Consult a BASF representative for more information con-cerning additives or adjuvants.

Tank Mix Restrictions

Spinach (all varieties). Cabrio has been reported to injure spinach under certain conditions. DO NOT apply Cabrioto spinach as a tank mix with any other pesticide products, adjuvants, additives, nutrients or anything other than water.

Application Directions. Begin applications of Cabrio prior to disease development and continue on a 7- to 14-dayinterval for anthracnose, black mold, early blight, powdery mildew, Septoria leaf spot, and target spot. For control oflate blight, begin applications prior to disease development, then follow each application of Cabrio with a labeledfungicide with a different mode of action 5 to 7 days later. Use the higher rate and the shorter interval when diseasepressure is high.

**For applications based on dilute volume, spray plants to runoff. Apply a minimum of 20 gallons of spray volume peracre, and increase the spray volume as the plants grow during the season. Spray proportional volume to the amount ofplant tissue to be covered such that 100 gallons of spray per acre is used on mature plants.

Use of Adjuvants. The use of additives or adjuvants may improve the performance of Cabrio on fruiting vegetables.However, BASF evaluations also indicate that under some conditions (particularly high temperatures and/or highadditive rates), application of Cabrio in combination with certain rates of silicone-based or oil-containing (petroleum orcrop) additives or adjuvants can cause injury.

BASF has not tested all varieties and cultivars with all possible tank mix combinations and rates of additives oradjuvants. Local environmental conditions also influence crop tolerance and may not match those under which BASFhas conducted testing. Physical incompatibility, reduced disease control, or crop injury may result from mixing Cabriowith other products.

To the extent consistent with applicable law, the user assumes all risks associated with adding products to the Cabriospray solution. BASF cannot be held responsible for crop injury, reduced disease control or incompatibility due toadditives, adjuvants or other products used in combination with Cabrio. Refer also to the Conditions of Sale andWarranty section of this label.

To minimize the likelihood of crop injury, BASF recommends testing Cabrio in combination with other products for cropsafety on a small portion of the crop. However, environmental variability precludes direct and consistent projection ofsmall area test results to future use.

Consult a BASF representative for more information concerning additives or adjuvants.

Resistance Management. To limit the potential for development of resistance, DO NOT apply more than 1.2 Ibs aipyraclostrobin (= 96 ozs Cabrio) per acre per crop growing season.
