Psalms 19:1 - 6 (KJV)

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.  Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.   There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

In English, star constellations, or pictures in the night sky, are often known as “Signs of the Zodiac. However, the constellations do not come from astrology. Hebrew astronomy predates both the Greek and Roman eras. In Hebrew the

constellations are known as "the Mazzeroth", and were placed in the heavens by God Himself.

Job 38:31; Isaiah 13:10; Amos 5:8.

Before the Bible was put into writing, God placed the stars to tell the Gospel plan of redemption. God’s message in the stars is where the book of creation speaks to

man of God's awesome power. It is His story.

All of the following images are calculations of real astronomical events. To perform the calculations I used Starry Night Pro and some data from the NASA website.

Both are based on Kepler’s Laws of Planetary Motion.

- A celestial tetrad is a set of four sequential lunar eclipses. Occasionally these all fall on Jewish holidays.

- There have been 7 of these events in the past 2000 years.

-There is one coming up in 2014/2015.

- There will be a series of 7 solar eclipses this decade.

- And 3 sets of lunar eclipses.

Tetrad

Page 13: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for

The occurrence of 4 total lunar eclipses in a row is called a Tetrad. Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli (1835-1910), who is most famous for his work in mapping the planet Mars, discovered the Tetrad eclipse cycle. Schiaparelli found that during a period of about three centuries, Tetrads can occur frequently, followed by another 300 years of no occurrence. In his retirement Schiaparelli studied the astronomy of the ancient Hebrews and Babylonians and wrote L’astronomia nell’antico testamento (1903; Astronomy in the Old Testament, 1905).

In 2008, Pastor Mark Blitz of El Shaddai Ministries announced the discovery of Tetrad occurrences on the Jewish Holidays of Passover and Feast of Trumpets, shortly after the rebirth of Israel in 1949-1950, and again in 1967-1968 during the 6 Day War and recapture of Jerusalem. Pastor Blitz has also discovered a future Tetrad Eclipse sequence will recur on the Jewish Passover and Feast of Trumpets Holidays in 2014-2015. The Jewish Holiday Tetrad eclipse cycle is a rare phenomena, which prior to 1948, had not happened in over 500 years, and will not occur again until the next century.

These tetrads (Sequences of four Lunar Eclipses) are each associated with Jewish Holidays. There have been 7 of these events in the past 2000 years. Each coincides with a period of persecution.

There is one more in 2014-2015

During this decade, there is a pattern of 7 solar eclipses; and 3 sets of lunar eclipses: the “Ox Sequence,” the “Last Tetrad,” and the “Crab Sequence.”

Upcoming celestial events correspond with the Biblical timeline according to Revelation.

Isaiah 63:1-4

Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

• The Crab event is particularly interesting in that all three seem centered on Jerusalem. The first rising, the second overhead (mars “the red one” in opposition “closest to the Earth”), and the third setting.

• The Hebrew names of the stars indicate redemption, the multitude (the cloud), the hiding place, the sheep fold.

• All three eclipses of this sequence fall on Jewish holidays the first and the last are on Tu Bishvat (New year of trees). This holiday represents the end of a three to four year period when fruit may be taken from a newly planted tree. The “fig tree” Israel has been redeemed. The one in the middle is the Sabbath of Consolation and Tu B’Av!

Shabbat Nachamu - Friday July 27th, 2018 - means "Sabbath of Consolation." These readings are meant to console us after the destruction of the Temple and reassure us that it will be built again.

49 days (7weeks) later is Shabbat Shuvah Friday September 14th, 2018 literally means "Sabbath of Return," It is the Shabbat that occurs between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and is a time for reflection leading up to the atonement of Yom Kippur.

Shabbat Shuvah ("Sabbath of Return") refers to the Shabbat that occurs during the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The Jewish calendar is so designed that only one Shabbat can occur between these dates. This Shabbat is named after the first word of the Haftarah (Hosea 14:2-10) and literally means "Return!"

•Tu B'Av (the fifteenth of the month Av)

•The 15th of Av was a popular during the Second Temple. •Today there are no special religious customs.•According to the Talmud, Tu B'Av was a joyous holiday in the days of the Temple in Jerusalem: Unmarried girls would dress in simple white clothing (so that rich could not be distinguished from poor) and go out to sing and dance in the vineyards surrounding Jerusalem and the young men who had not yet married would go to watch and choose among them wives for themselves.

Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

These are things which we can observe and consider as testimony of the Creator in the General Revelation of His creation. However our faith in a just and merciful God rests in His Special Revelation, the Scriptures. These bear witness of His Gospel, which is the greatest message to a fallen world, and to this I recommend your primary attention.

Disclaimer: Anyone with a computer and celestial software can perform these calculations. I used Starry Night Pro Plus, the NASA website, and the historical Jewish Holidays from two websites. Personally I consider these signs in the heavens as a pattern awaiting confirming events. If you see confirming events you might consider them, if there are no confirming events I recommend rejecting them as mere coincidence and speculation.

Luke 21:25 These Things

• And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Micah 7Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the first ripe fruit. The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
