Front cover The front cover of his album has a dusky ‘gold glow’ feel. This is a fashionable and mainstream male artist style which also links to the fashionable hair and clothing of the artist. The main focus is the artist as he is portrayed in the centre of the front cover slightly looking away from the audience which creates the conventions of him being superior, and reflects his fame. The picture used is done to attract the younger female audience as he is being portrayed in an attractive light, as the warm lighting is reflected on his face. It also reminds buyers that he is a pop artist as the gold tones reflect a pop style lifestyle. The main title ‘believe’ is the main focus around the album and also reflects the moral reasons for the album and why it was created, which may also give an insight to the songs included within the album. Also the word ‘believe’ creates the connotations of ‘trust’ and ‘confidence’ which could reflect the artist's past in terms of events. The close up of the artist face, enhances and promotes his identity which will fundamentally make him a more recognisable artist.

Back CoverThe back of the album again follows the gold tones and black contrast although using a brighter tone. It also includes a tracklist of what songs are in the album in a white colour which creates a brighter and happier mood and also contrasts the gold and black. Also some of the songs in the album have not yet been released which will encourage audiences to buy the album. Another picture of justin is portrayed on the back of the album of his playing a guitar and the word ‘believe’ on his guitar case. This not only highlights his musical talents but also creates the hidden meanings to follow your dreams and ‘believe’. The background is also in a street implying that he’s possibly buskin, which is the opposite to his current career although maybe portraying what he use to do to get where he is now. His trendy mainstream clothing highlights that he’s a male pop singer as, a typical convention is to be following the current trends. The link to his website is also present on the cover of the album which will help the artist create a more popular fanbase for his website and is a good use of synergy.

CDThe Cd used inside the digipak is fairly simple and of course still follows the gold and black contrast. By having the ‘believe’ word on the front of every piece of the digipak reminds the buyer of the music they are listening to and to be reminding of the meaning behind the title and how it links to the songs within the album. On the other hand personally i wouldn’t like to follow the theme of this album on my own digipak as it seems too simple and vague, i would like

something more outstanding to support my album.
