With the passage of over 6000 years it is very difficult for us today to obtain a complete picture about everyday life in Ancient Egypt.

The boy’s lived with their mother’s and father’s until they were married and the girls lived withtheir mother’s and father’s until they were 15-19 years old. Although life for the poor was hard in Ancient Egypt, by comparison to other societies Ancient Egypt, by comparison to other societies of the time. Even they were comparativelywell-off and had a reasonably high standard ofliving. Women were allowed to own their own homes

and the country, the men did all the washing. In ancient Egypt there was

someone called a Pharaoh. A Pharaoh was a rich and powerful king who ruled Ancient Egypt.Sometime around 5000 BC, mankind organisedhimself into city states, the first true civilization.Thanks for watching.

• There are 138 pyramids discovered in

Eygpt as of 2008.

• The pyramids of Khufu at Giza is the

largest Egyptian Pyramids.It is the

only one of the seven Wonders still in

existence.

• A pyamid contains 2,300.000 bricks.

He died at 18 and was found dead at 19.

Tutankhamun was probably born at Akhetaten which was the capital city of Egypt.

What was Tutankhamun’s funeral like?

Tutankhamun died suddenly and so his burial was arranged in haste.

The first of a flight of 16 descending step was found on 4 November 1922 , just in front and to the north side of the entrance to the tomb of Ramesses.the valley of the kings upper Egypt contains many of the tombs of Pharoahs from the New Kingdom, including Tutankhamun and Ramesses the Great.
