Warm-up Games
• Each session starts with a warm-up activity to raise children’s heart rate, get blood flowing to their muscles and get them ready for the P.E lesson.
• Warm-up sessions usually take the form of games, as the children enjoy these, they encourage participation from the start of the lesson and are motivating.

• Once a child has been tagged, they must stand still like a scarecrow with their arms and legs wide until another child ‘frees’ them by running under their arms or crawling under their legs.
