08 January Japan Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT)/Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (KMOF) contacted by INTERTANKO and urged to provide a PoR.
10 January Negative response received from KMOF, say vessel in Japanese waters so the issue is Japan’s

19 February INTERTANKO update IMO SG and SG initiates meeting with Korea, Japan, Singapore and HK China representatives in London
19 February INTERTANKO work with IMC and Aurora in regards to the Tripartite Agreement (NOWPAP) and the responsibilities of the three States contracted by the Agreement in terms of a PoR.
20 February INTERTANKO now in joint effort and dialogue with Round Table Associations to gather more support and greater awareness of the issue.
