ANCHOR NEWS APRIL-JUNE 2016
THE GROWTH OF ANCHOR CROSS CANCER FOUNDATION Greetings! Spring has arrived and Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation is excited for what lies ahead with the
change of season. Two programs coming to fruition this spring are the completion of the Tom Wells Garden of
Life and the introduction of the Planters for Hope project, both in Daphne.
The Garden of Life is now offering naming opportunities for
pavers, plaques and benches to create a lasting memorial for
loved ones, while also raising funds in support of our mission to
help patients with cancer in our community. Our new Planters
for Hope project will allow patients an opportunity to plant a
flower either matching the color of their cancer ribbon or simply
honoring a member of SCC’s staff for the compassionate care
they received. These flowers will then be planted in the Tom
Wells Garden of Life.
Also new this spring is the launch of ACCF’s website! Please check it out at www.anchorcrossfoundation.org. It
will promote and define all of the Foundation’s news, events, campaigns and projects, plus different ways you can
donate. And remember 100% of every dollar we raise stays in our local community and helps us continue to pro-
vide support for patients.
ACCF is growing and constantly trying to improve and innovate in order to help provide hope and assistance to
as many patients as possible. THANK YOU to our SCC patients, staff and community for your support of ACCF
and stay tuned for more as we really get things rolling!
