It all begins with the neckThe most sensitive point on a horses body is the neck, this is where tons of nerves, ligaments and tendons gathers. The neck is the headquarter of the body and what’s pressuringon the neck may show as an issue elsewhere on the body. It’s all connected...

Try adding your finger to your neck and push. Then try to add your palm on the same place and add the same amount of pressure. Quite a difference, right? This is why all our headpieces are wide, to comfortably even out the pressure over the horse’s neck and to avoid pressure points.

Also all our headpieces have a rounding shape around the ears. Here goes the same principle, imagine wearing sunglasses not curved around your ears but completely straight with a 90° angle. Then imagine to try to rotate your ears around, just as the horses do all the time when listening... To rotate a round shape against something straight simply isn’t comfortable. Once again, minor changes may work wonders!

The important contact between the cheek pieces and the horses mouthAll cheek pieces have our unique cradles™, approved for competing in all disciplines including dressage. The most important function of the cradle™ is the flexibility if brings, allowing the bit to suspend in the horse’s mouth and therefore enabling a soft, flexible contact between horse and rider. The cradles™ are also in all our reins to even further enhance the comfort and connection between the horse’s mouth and the rider’s hand. If you wish to unhook the cradle™ that’s easily done in matter of seconds and the reins can be used as “standard reins” or “standard cheek pieces”.

Browbands with clever detailsNo matter if you prefer our bling-browband or our flat ones you’’ll have a browband filled with smart details. One detail as simple as the rubber inside on both ends prevents the browband to slip from its original position and bother the horse over the eyes or pressuring on the eye base. This rubber inside is also on all keepers on all our bridles. The Click It™ function allows you to easily change your browband in matter of seconds thanks to the smart buttons.

Select your bridle based on the noseband The absolute largest difference between our bridles are the nosebands. What they all have in common is that they are softly padded and anatomically shaped to avoid adding pressure on all sensitive nerves on the horse’s head. The nosebands all have different functions, e.g. combining the effect of the rein between the mouth and the nose, offers a more even, wider and softer pressure when using a flash strap, leaving extra space for the airways etc.

Do you need a throatlatch?The actual function of the throatlatch originates from the old war times when the horse’s were used at the battle fields. It was tightened rock-hard to avoid the opponent to be able to rip off the bridle. Between the battles and during the travels it was loosened and instead used to hang things for the horse to carry with its head...

When competing in showjumping the use of a throatlatch is not demanded, but several federations demands it when competing in dressage. Therefore we offer them separately so that they can be added to your purchase when buying your new bridle. It is easily attached in the browband thanks to the Click It™ function.

A classical noseband redesigned, the Pioneer is a drop noseband that offers unsurpassed horse comfort, and modern styling. Thanks to the cross-sectional design, the cheek pieces are kept away from the eyes and the jaw strap is extra padded for increased stability and comfort. The noseband has raw hide on the inside to hold its shape away from the sensitive nerve endings of the nasal bone. It also features a built in soft pillow to increase the noseband‘s stability and is decorated with a white seam. A traditional noseband in a new, anatomical shape that will give that extra edge in the dressage arena. Round stitched cheek pieces with incorporated nylon binding to prevent stretching.

The leather of the noseband has a drop shape which means it‘s wider in the middle and gets thinner on the sides. At the center of the noseband it is 5,5 cm wide.

The curved design is to avoid pressure to the cheekbones and the sensitive parts of the horses head. It gets attached with an extra padded pullback buckle.
