movements show that he could either bepraying as something unfortunate hashappened or he could be thinking aboutan event which has happened.

At the start of the episode, there is sad and depressing music played. #hisallows the audience to understand the emotion of this episode and theyknow that there is going to be something bad happening$happened or goingto happen.

After this in the episode the music carries on until a man comes in andstates %Attention please& and the music stops as he says this, everyonestarts to sigh and then is 'uiet listening to the man and they are listeningto what he is about to say to them.

(hen it cuts from the previous scene of the man asking them for theirattention, the music then is re played this time it is another sound which is

di"erent from the previous. As the music is being played the scene is that awoman is being taken into hospital on a hospital bed and they are allaround her taking her to a hospital ward. #he music is with a beat andshows the tension and then shows the mum running down the hall chasingafter her.

#he music is then kept playing throughout when the scene cuts to the

people reading from the notice board if their daughter$son is alive or not.

-n the episode there was no ma*or editing which the audience could see,there was only cut scenes which cut the di"erent scenes to another scene.

#he !rst shot dips from black to the shot which is a good editing techni'ueas the shot which is shown is 'uite dark and therefore dark reects sadness

within the scene.

(ithin some of the scenes there is blurring of the background image,focusing on one person which shows the importance of that character.

As the editing is so limited, this could be due to the fact that they have asmall budget which means they can)t a"ord to spend a lot of money on agood editing software as they may use the money elsewhere.

#he story is being built as from the beginning we don)t know anything about what is going on asthe shot we see is an establishing shot and a shot of a mans hands. #he story then begins tounfold when we are told that there has been a dramatic event and the man who walks into theroom demands everyones attention to listen to his news. He goes on to e+plain that he has thelist of the survivors who have had minor in*uries but have been treated and are of a goodcondition. #his puts the mood back to a normal level, however then we are told that there are still

more people yet to be found and bodies remained unidenti!ed which leaves the people in thewaiting room stressed. #he story then reveals that a woman has been badly in*ured by this eventand her mum is waiting curiously to !nd out what has happened. (e then realise that she is notin a good position and isn)t stable. #he story keeps building up throughout the scenes giving yousome more information about the di"erent scenes. (e then get to know that the girl)s mother isallowed in to see her in her ward, after being let in they speak for a while and the heart monitorstops beating which they then announce the time of death and as this is happening the mother isleft distraught crying on the oor. #his builds the story up as now we know more about whats

happening. /urthermore after this event happens the man re entered the waiting room to givemore information about the other people who are dead$alive and people wait to !nd out abouttheir loved ones. After this has happened the scene ends with a previous character re enteringthe scene and a woman states %0um1 - thought you were dead& which is where the scene ends.

#hroughout this episode the story is keeps being built throughout every scene. As from the startof the episode you are unaware of the di"erent events which are going to take place and theevents get more series throughout especially when the girl dies and then it leaves the scene with

a cli"hanger.
