Analysing Sigma...

What I really love about this video is the visuals incredibly clear and very beautiful; all things that i think play a key part of in the final execution of a music video and to really give it that high definition look. Although I enjoy the visuals, I find the song more inspirational and a better source creative stimulation. For me the song connotes the type of atmosphere and

emotion that I hope to connote in my video.

As far as the video is involved, I do find some parts of it interesting such as the use of location and lighting such as the beach scenes. The diverse range of shots that have at the beach scene I also find inspirational as it isn’t from all one select angle; highlighting the beauty all around not just the superficial beauty of the two

girls.

What I really need to consider with this video is that it is contemporary and reflects most of the videos that are being produced by the music industry for this genre. This helps he realise that though this video may be beautiful, I n4eed to diversify from some (not all) of these set conventions and create a more unique piece of material.

Tracking shots in this video are well executed and allow the viewers to engage with the characters creating the scene that they are on the journey. Tracking point of view shots could be a useful tool to incorporate when it comes to creating my actual video as I want to be able to engage with the audience on that one to one level. Unlike this video that portrays it from an outsider I will be able to create a more intimate connection with the viewers.
