I need to whisper now, but I think that

Summer might be coming and making a

breakthrough. We have had a few

sunny days and I have officially declared

it summer in my wardrobe (even though

that means loads of cardigans).

I worry about myself sometimes as Iget so very excited about our events. Is

it normal to get giddy about boxes and

deliveries and plans for craft classes?

Perhaps I wont answer the question

and just carry on enjoying!

Lots to do especially if it has to do

with crafting and chocolate

We have a fabulous list of activities

planned for the next 2 months starting

out with an amazing chocolate themed

demonstration day on 21st of May. We

also have a creative weekend on the 4&5

of June (which I am secretly calling my

birthday weekend). I have planned my

dream crafting weekend and I plan, as a

present to myself, to sit down and par-

ticipate in any classes I am not teaching.

Finally, we are going to be visiting

Carlow with a day filled with the latest

crafting ideas and techniques.

All that is new

The shop is quite exciting at the

moment, as many of the new suppliers

that we signed up with at the trade

show are now delivering the goods!

This might be a good time to thank

Philomena Sullivan and Linda Dawson

who came with me to the show and

helped me choose all the new stuff. It

really makes such a difference havingthose extra eyes and extra opinions. We

looked for great die-cut decoupage (and

now we have it), we looked for the best

large size die cutter and decided on the

Grand Calibur from Spellbinders - and

now it is on the way!!!!! We also chose

some great new suppliers like the fabu-

lously creative Hunky Dory and

Creative Expressions. And of course

we got all the latest goodies from our

regular suppliers such as Woodware and

Sizzix.

Yellow Club News

The Yellow clubs are having a great

year - all of them! We have had a

increase in membership across all three

clubs - cardmaking, scrapbooking and

jewellery. We have also had quite a

funny reaction to our extra special

Yellow Clubs. We got 8 orders for con-

firmation and communion bags and then

set to work putting them together. I

told Kim we would make 12 just in case.

We should have made 20. We had so

many people wanting it after it was

made. I now need to do the much

delayed sympathy bag and am planning

a Wedding Day bag (the latest in invita-

tions and cards for that special day) and

a Baby bag- boys, girls, twins and chris-

tenings. Please, these must be orderedwith Kim in advance so I can plan to

buy the stamps and all the goodies for

inside the bags.

Chocolate - a girls best friend!

It is isnt it? Diarise it now - our amaz-

ing free demo day on Saturday 21st

May. All the info is inside the newslet-

ter but a sneak peak is simply chocolaty.

Cards, packing, food everything - and it

is free to attend.

Summer Holidays

My son has about 2 weeks left at school

this year and soon enough all the kids

will be out. Take a look at our childrens

programme to see what we have on for

kids this summer.

Im wishing for sunny days with a few

rainy ones in between so I can justify

staying in and playing with paper and

glue.

plan for the response and could have sold many

prefer to teach.

We are looking for tutors across the full range of craft-

ing from cardmaking, die-cutting, scrapbooking, jew-

ellery making, Fimo, felting and more.

You send us the suggestions and we will consider them.
