How would you like to have portable seats perman-ently mounted on trailers, that can open orclose in less than 5 minutes - ONE MAN OPERATION- NO MACHINERY INVOLVED. Once the trailer's seatsare folded the whole middle of the trailer canbe used for carrying props, rigging, parade wa-gons, etc. These seat trailers can be pulled bya pick-up; no heavy trucks required.

We can build seat wagons to fit your needs (withup to 14 rows of seats on each wagon) for legalheight and length requirements for highway trav-el. For seats not meant for highway travel we canbuild almost any size or shape required.

Don't Stop at Seat Wagons though! We build port-able stages, props, floats and other show equip-ment.

If you want to see our seat wagons and stagetrailer in action, come visit us.

2nd Opening SetIn a telephone interview E.

J. McDaniels, producer of Show-time USA, which folded in itsfirst week, reported the show isgoing to be reopened in SeptemberWhen Showtime USA reopens it willplay arenas, ball parks and sta-diums where seating and facili-ties already exist.

Despite reports to the con-trary, Showtime USA was a goodshow, with good equipment and ex-cellent acts, says McDaniels."Myerror was in hiring certain man-agement to run the front officeand the fact my money people pul-led out before we could get offand running."

According to McDaniels theshow folded when he was unable tobe on hand personally, and thefailure of his people to takehold. The talent and performerswere excellent and tried, he ad-ded, to hold the show together, but couldn't do it without helpfrom the front office. Anothermistake, McDaniels said, was that

some of my people were rentingworn-out Hertz trucks.

McDaniels has recovered allof the show property and has some$147,000 worth of equipment onhand. There are only two outstan-ding bills, he said ($16,000 and$28,000) which will be paid offthrough the sale of some of theshow equipment.

As a means of protectionMcDaniels had three differentcorporations for the show. "Thistime I had things set up legallyand straight and some lawsuitsfor breach of contracts andagreements may be filed againstseveral parties that caused Show-time USA to fold and for all thebad publicity."

When asked about his sonwho was hurt at Rosenburg (Texas)E. J. replied, "It was fortunatethat Harry wasn't seriously in-jured.

The untimely demise of CHAR-LIE NOCK resulted from choking ona piece of meat, followed by aheart attack. Only his daughterwas home and she was unaware ofthe tragedy. Charlie was pronoun-ced DOA at the hospital, then wasrevived, but for 20 minutes nooxygen had gotten to his brain. He finally succumbed. My personalsympathies to the Nock Family.

The show's tent is an 85 ftround end with a 40 ft center. The entrance marquee is a Europ-ean type and all the main poleswere decked out in colored lightsThe program was an excellent one,and enjoyed by everyone.

All of the show's quarterpoles are of the mushroom type(without spikes). They provedtheir worth, says John Stebbing, just a few days before the con-vention when a wind and rainstorm struck. I thought we weregoing to lose the top, he said, but in three minutes we had itdropped down and thus saved it.You couldn't have done that withspiked poles.
