Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy BGA reserves the right to cancel a camp if the minimum number of participants do not sign up for the camp. A full refund will be given in the event of such cancellation.

A $50 registration fee will be charged for a camper withdrawal except in the case of a camp or class cancellation. The fee is non-refundable. If the withdrawal is received less than two weeks prior to the start of camp, the processing fee is 50% of the cost of the camp. Once the camp has started, we cannot issue any refunds.

We have something for everyone this summer! Camps range from academic to athletics, enrichment and art – all age appropriate and directed by a BGA coach/teacher or camp professional. This summer we are offering over 100 camp options for ages 4 to adults from June 3 through July 26. Half-day and full-day combo camps are available with lunch.

Our summer camp programs are open to all in the Middle Tennessee area. For families needing additional care, early-care, after-care and between-care are available for an additional fee. Come join us for an exciting summer experience!

Advanced Guard and Post AcademyAges: 8-14Dates: July 16-18, 3:30-5:30 p.m.Cost: $100 in advance, $110 at the doorLocation: Cherry Sports CenterWe will spend significant time breaking down the guard and post positions. Camp will be run similar to a practice as students learn how to play each position better. Guards will work on ball handling, passing, post feeds, playing off ball screens, and playing without the ball. Posts will learn about footwork, post position, finishing moves, and playing as a ball screener. CHEERLEADING:Little Wildcat Cheer CampAges: 5-11Dates: July 22-25, 1-4 p.m.Cost: $90Location: Cherry Sports Center Gym/Sensing Wrestling RoomJoin the varsity Wildcat cheerleaders to learn cheer fundamentals, chants, and dances. Cheerleaders will have tons of fun and be ready to lead their favorite team to victory. Dodge ball is a challenging game that increases athletes’ hand-eye coordination, and mental awareness of their surroundings, and offers a great cardio workout. The BGA football coaching staff has experience coaching and playing on the high school, college and professional level. Advanced Quarterback/Wide Receiver SkillsAges: 9-18Dates: June 11-12, 4:30-6 p.m.Cost: $100 in advance, $110 at the doorLocation: Jewell Athletic & Wellness Center/Guffee-Brown Stadium BGA Head Football Coach Roc Batten and assistant coaches will help aspiring quarterbacks and receivers hone their skills in this specialty camp. Players will be instructed on proper quarterback mechanics that will include throwing motion, release, and footwork. Receivers will receive instruction on proper route running technique and catching. Football Contact CampAges: 6-14Dates: July 9-11, 4:45-6:15 p.m.Cost: $85 in advance, $95 at the doorLocation: Jewell Athletic and Wellness Center BGA Head Football Coach Roc Batten, and coaches from BGA middle school and high school staff, will lead a full pads camp. The BGA Football Contact participants will work on the fundamentals of blocking, tackling, and core positional skills. Bring a mouth guard and cleats; pads will be provided for students participating in BGA’s 5th through 8th grade football program. Sessions will emphasize the basic fundamentals of: hitting, slapping, pitching, catching, infield, and outfield. Campers will leave with a better knowledge of the game and with specific drills that will continue to improve their skill set. VOLLEYBALL:Volleyball Skills CampAges: 8-14Dates: July 8-11; 9 a.m. to NoonCost: $120 in advance, $140 at the doorLocation: Cherry Sports Center Campers will be divided up based on age/skill level and will focus on specific aspects of volleyball geared to their abilities through drills and games. The camp will focus on individual skill

development in passing, serving, and attacking, along with an introduction to offensive and defensive terminology. DRIVER’S EDUCATION:Brentwood Driver Training Ages: 15 and up; Class size: 5-25 students Dates: June 17-21, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (2:30 p.m. dismissal on Friday) Cost per session: $430Location: Middle School Academic BuildingBGA is excited to offer a driver’s education program through Brentwood Driver Training. The entire course is completed in one week and consists of 30 hours of classroom time and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. The class will be held on the Battle Ground Academy campus for five days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (2:30 dismissal on Friday). The driving lessons will be completed during class, with some lessons possibly after class. Everyone that completes this course will receive a driver’s education certificate good for an insurance discount. When taking this course, you can be exempt from taking the tests at the Driver Testing Station (see eligibility).

Permit/License Eligibility:You can take our driver’s ed course anytime between the ages of 14.5 and 18 years old. You can complete the course to earn your certificate and insurance reduction. Then, when you are within 90 days of turning 16, you can come back and test with us for your license by taking a quick road test with one of our staff.If you are 15 years old or will turn 15 by the last day of your class, then you may test for your learner’s permit with us. If you are 16 years old or will turn 16 within six months after the class, and you already have a learner’s permit, then you may test for your driver’s license with us. The CDTP Awareness Form you receive from us, which you will provide to the Licensing Station, is given in addition to the Driver Education Certificate of Completion used for insurance discounts. The CDTP Awareness Form is valid for 365 days (one year) from the date of testing. We do not guarantee a permit or license just by attending our course. You must also successfully pass the test we give for permit or license.
