Prof. Dr. Christian
Moormann is a full professor
for Soil and Rock Mechanics
and head of the Institute of
Geotechnical Engineering at
University of Stuttgart since
2010. Christian graduated in 1994 with a diploma
in Civil Engineering from University of Hannover
and received his doctorate (PhD) 2002 from
Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2009 he got
his Habilitation (Venia legendi) on Soil and Rock
Mechanics also from TU Darmstadt. He has more
