Subsidised handsetsGo Mobile Plus plans that offer the option to add a subsidised handset may attract a device repayment contract in addition to the monthly access fee. These two costs create your minimum monthly cost.

Data inclusionsIf you use more than your Monthly Data Allowance on your Go Mobile Plus plan, you’ll be automatically charged an additional $10 for each extra 1GB of data (or part thereof) that you use in Australia (Extra Data). Any unused Extra Data will expire at the end of your billing month. Bonus data (BYO $50) is for NEW connections to Telstra only.

Nominated IDD countriesWhere included, IDD calls from Australia are unlimited to the following countries: Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the UnitedKingdom and the United States of America

Right-planningOnce during each billing month you can ask to move plans - only within the same plan family, eg Go Mobile Plus to another Go Mobile Plus, without incurring penalty. Device repayment amounts will remain as per your original contracted plan. The Premium plan cannot be right-planned from or to and remains stand alone for the term of your contract.

Go Mobile Plans and Go Mobile BYO PlansSome usage is excluded such as calls/text/MMS to premium numbers (eg 19xx numbers), 1234, 12455 and 12456, and to some satellite numbers, content charges, and use overseas. Unused allowances expire monthly. These plans require paperless billing and electronic payment. A $2 charge will be applied in arrears if you elect to receive a paper bill , making a bill payment in person or via mail incurs an additional $1 fee. Some exemptions may apply

Data Share SIMsWith the Telstra Go Mobile Plus Plans, you can share your mobile plan data with eligible devices under the same billing account. Data share SIMs may be added to share the pool of data, however no data will be attached to these Data Share SIMs. You can cancel your Data Share SIMs at anytime and you will remain on your Go Mobile Plus Plans.

Telstra New Phone Feeling™If your Device Payment Contract ends, you will not be able to use Telstra New Phone Feeling™. You need to select an eligible handset & contract plan to take up New Phone Feeling™ - your original handset must be returned, in fair condition & working order, otherwise a fee will be applied (equal to the remaining device repayment amounts.

SMS/MMSA single SMS is up to 160 standard characters. For longer SMS, we charge the SMS fee for each 153 standard characters or part thereof. An MMS is up to 500kb in size.

StayConnected PlusYou must subscribe to StayConnected Plus at the time you purchase a new mobile or tablet from a Telstra store or dealer on a repayment option or outright (and pay for it in full) and you take up an Eligible Plan. If requested, you must bring your device to a Telstra store for inspection. You may cancel your subscription at any time. You may swap or replace your device for the same or a similar device twice in each 12-month period subject to payment of a service fee of up to $220 each time. A swapped or replaced device is usually a refurbished device that is the same model as your current device or a similar device. To swap your device, you must return it within 14 days of receiving your refurbished device or pay a non-return fee. The IMEI of your original device will be blocked and all content will be wiped. Mobile Security and Data Protection features are only available on compatible iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Some Mobile Security features including remote lock, anti-virus and safe browsing are not supported on iOS devices. If you have the right to a replacement under a warranty or consumer guarantee, you won’t be charged a service fee.

Mobile Data SpeedsSpeeds vary for reasons like location, distance from base stations, terrain, user numbers, hardware/software configuration, download source and upload destination.

Welcome Credit - on nominated plansBring your mobile number to Telstra from any other carrier/provider and we’ll thank you with a one-off Welcome Credit on select new Go Mobile Plus plans. You need to connect and stay on your chosen Go Mobile Plus plan for at least 24 months (12 months if New Phone Feeling is redeemed) and service cannot have been active with Telstra in previous 3 months. If your eligible plan is cancelled or you move to an eligible plan with a lower minimum monthly charge or move to an ineligible plan within 24 months of the date you sign up to your eligible plan (first 24 months), you may need to repay the Bonus Credit on a pro-rata basis.
