 Absolute Efficiency  AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO) have the best efficiencyrating in the automotive/light-truck market. Ea Oil Filtersprovide a filtering efficiency in accordance with industrystandard ISO 4548-12 of 98.7 percent at 15 microns,while competitive filters containing conventional cellulosemedia range from 40 to 80 percent efficiency.

Less Restriction  AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have lower restriction than con-ventional cellulose media filters. Their small syntheticnanofibers trap smaller particles and hold morecontaminants, resulting in lower restriction. Duringcold-temperature warm-up periods, an Ea Oil Filterallows the oil to flow through the filter more easily thana typical cellulose filter does. Lower restriction decreasesengine wear.

Contaminant Retention  A filter’s capacity refers to the amount of contaminantsit can hold and still remain effective. AMSOIL Ea OilFilters have a greater capacity for small, wear-causingcontaminants than competing filter lines do. In mostapplications, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL syn-thetic motor oils in normal service, EaO Filters are guar-anteed to remain effective for up to 25,000 miles or oneyear, whichever comes first.

allows Ea Oil Filters to deliver higher capacity and effi-ciency along with better durability.

Over the service life of a conventional cellulose filter,hot oil will degrade the resins that bind the media. Ea OilFilters’ full-synthetic media technology is resin-free. Ituses a wire screen backing that is pleated with themedia for superior strength.

Ea Oil Filters are constructed with HNBR gaskets thatare fully tested to extreme distances in numerous

severe environments. The filters also featurefully tucked seams, a molded element

seal, roll-formed threads and a long-lasting premium-grade silicone anti-drain valve.

Service Life 

 AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters are guaranteed for up to

25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first,when used in conjunction with AMSOIL syntheticmotor oil. AMSOIL recommends changing the oilfilter at the time of oil change.

If used in conjunction with AMSOIL motor oilthat is being changed at intervals less than 25,000

miles, the EaO Filter should be changed at thesame time. AMSOIL EaO Filters are not guaranteedfor 25,000 miles when used with any oil other than AMSOIL motor oil and should be changed accord-

ing to vehicle OEM recommendations.
