Dear God,Today we pray for a simpler life, a brighter

tomorrow, a less polluted world, that every man, woman and child has food, water and shelter and

that a peace-filled existence is achieved in our lifetime!

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Discussion

• “Is it possible to live simply in the 21st century and will it make a difference in our world? (Or are we just kidding ourselves?)”

Questions to answer:

• 1.What do we value as individuals? Come up with 5 things you cannot live without.

• 2. Discuss what our needs really are

• 3. Discuss / explain the purpose of the unit

Be happy with your lot, in life!

• Using less electricity and gas in our homes is a fantastic thing to do because it limits the amount of household gases getting released into the atmosphere.

• It is also good to use less electricity and gas because you can reserve natural resources.

Next time your at the shop buy Australian made products and you will help the people of our

Many People are less fortunate than you donate and change someone's life forever

WALK TO SCHOOL OR WORK ONCE PER WEEK

• IT WILL HELP THE ENVIRONMENT AND• YOU WILL BECOME FITTER AND HEALTHY

Share resources- everyone doesn’t have to have everything consider a community approach.

Not everybody needs to go and buy everything. Your neighbor may be kind enough to lend it to you, in exchange for something you may have.

Give your old clothing, furniture and household goods to charities who can make them available to the less fortunate

Support those in our communities who are disabled and elderly.

so let people know we love them often…
