It is very important to use the highest quality oils and dilute in
a base oil at a fraction of the human dose and avoid certain oils altogether.
That is why we recommend using…
essential oils because they are Certified Pure Therapeutic-Grade –
a natural healthcare alternative.
CERTIFIED PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE™
PURE–100% natural, no artificial ingredients, fragrances, or fillers
SAFE–Certified to be free of pesticides and other chemical residues
POTENT–Standardized active compounds
Aromatherapy is a way to support and nourish the human and
canine bond. While also improving the health of the dog you are caring for.
It also comes with a much lower price tag, and the very nature of
aromatherapy makes it beneficial for both dog and owner.
Dogs would naturally eat plants, grasses and herbs,
fruit, nuts and berries.
Natural aromatic compounds in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants.
Essential Oil Comes From:
WHAT IS AN ESSENTIAL OIL? Natural aromatic compounds found in plants Steam distilled or cold pressed extraction Powerful, safe benefits without side effects
(Oil sacs on peppermint leaf)
The domesticated pet doesn’t exactly get this in his kibble. When
wild dogs are sick they seek out certain foods, plants and herbs to
aid in boosting them back to health.
Canine aromatherapy is still in its infancy in terms of
general acceptance.
Mass produced canine aromatherapy products are now available in the aisles of pet superstores, most are synthetic chemical base which are
solely fake scents and without any therapeutic value.

Three Reasons why Everyone Should Use dōTERRA Essential Oil
How they work:Essential oils possess strong antibacterial
properties, yet they work in an entirely different manner than antibiotics which are called ALLOPATHIC MEDICINE
(western medicine). These medicines cover up the symptoms or “trick” the body into perceiving something other than what
is actually there usually at the cost of a depressed immune system.
Essential oils on the other hand:seek to change the landscape
of the body; balancing and tonifying it for optimal health while at the same
time, alleviating symptoms and helping a dog owner to seek out possible
causes for the imbalance.
When dōTERRA CPTG Essential Oils and alternative care are
employed and allopathic drugs put aside except for crisis care situations, something miraculous happens I’ve
seen it happen and hopefully you soon will too.
With repeated use, they support and strengthen the immune system
increasing vitality previously not consider possible.
Recommend oils you can add to your unscented soaps, shampoos, spritzers but keep in mind everything must be stored in a cool dark environment.
PET plastic bottles, Stainless Steel or non-clear glass are preferable.
Use pure all natural soap, shampoo and any spritzers must be
shaken well before each use.

What to use for: Calming your pet
Massage one drop of Lavender essential oil during shampooing, this
will help calm and relax your pet.
What to use for: Arthritis, Dysplasia, Sprains & Strians
Apply a few drops of Peppermint oil to any areas where your pet is experiencing
discomfort from arthritis, dysplasia, a sprain or strain. The oil can be combined with
carrier oil, such as Fractionated Coconut Oil or Olive Oil, for easier application.
What to use for: Skin Issues
Apply a few drops of Lavender essential oil to sensitive skin areas to soothe irritated and inflamed skin and minimize pet’s discomfort.
For cuts and scrapes Lavender naturally disinfects the wound and helping it heal faster with its antiseptic properties. The oils can be combined with an ointment
and applied to the wound.
What to use for: Fleas & Dandruff
Apply 4 drops of Melaleuca to 2 ounces of Non-Medicated Dog Shampoo. Shampoo your
pet OUTDOORS, or at your local dog bath, lathering well. Any fleas, will try to “flea” the dog
when you bathe him or her and you probably don’t want any more fleas in the house. Rinse your pet well and thoroughly dry the fur. It is suggested to only give your pet this bath no
more than once a week. Most dogs have very soft fur after this bath making brushing easier.
What to use for: Colds, Cough or Upset Stomach
When your pet is experiencing a cold and its many side effects, Peppermint
will be your oil of choice. Apply Peppermint directly to the animal’s throat when coughing
– will stop almost immediately. For upset stomach combine Peppermint with carrier
oil, such as Fractionated Coconut Oil or Olive Oil and rub on belly.
