Xerafy’s X II Series of UHF RFID tags are specifically designed to be the smallest and most rugged RFID-on-metal
tags in the world for industrial markets where critical and potentially hazardous situations require reliable
identification of assets. Xerafy’s patented RF antenna design provides an unrivaled performance-to-size
ratio, reducing tag size and allowing customers to attach X II tags to small metallic assets that have been too
challenging to track in the past. The durable X II Series can survive temperatures of up to 482°F (250°C) and
other harsh elements such as high impact and caustic chemicals.
X II tags are constructed with robust materials and rated IP68 for high reliability and durability in all types
of environments. They integrate the latest IC technology to deliver the industry’s best performance and
memory size while conforming to EPC Class 1 Gen 2 specifications. Xerafy products are guaranteed for the
highest quality and excellence and meet the industry’s stringent safety and security requirements.

X II Series RFID-On-Metal Tags
Xerafy has raised the bar for RFID-in-metal EPC Class 1 Gen 2 (ISO 18000-6C) technology by introducing
the iN Series of RFID-in-metal tags. The option of flush mounting RFID tags inside metallic assets without
having to worry about the impact to read-sensitivity and performance opens the door to new and completely
automated inventory tracking for metallic items. Embedding the iN Series tag ensures durability and
eliminates environmental concerns like rain, snow and sun that often keep other tags from functioning.
RFID tags are normally applied externally post-manufacture, where they are susceptible to damage from
normal wear and tear and can be targets for deliberate tampering. Embed-in-metal technology is the most
reliable solution to prevent tampering as there is no way to remove the RFID tag without destroying the
product. Xerafy’s iN Series tags enable embedding RFID during the production process, reducing application
costs and allowing manufacturers and end-users the opportunity to differentiate and deliver greater value.
