Case Study #1• Joan works in admitting at the hospital• Saturday evening has been

particularly hectic• Joan is scheduled to leave in 5 minutes• Joan’s ride is waiting outside• Joan’s two co-workers are swamped

with admitting six emergencies• What should Joan do?
