Procedure for all Models:• Link Main Architectural Model using:

– Auto Origin-to-Origin• Re-Position if Necessary (X,Y,Z)• Acquire Coordinates from Arch. Model• Pin Architectural Model

Word to the Wise: DON’T MOVE THE MAIN MODEL!!

Level of Detail:• Simplest model possible with accurate connection locations.• Include Housekeeping Pads and Clearance Zones

Keeping in ‘sync’:• Copy/Monitor Datum Information.• Create Room Tags or Use Space Naming Utility (<2011)

Prepping your Model:• Detach from Central• Purge any unused elements• Remove details• Remove working views• Remove sheets

 Save Snapshot to FTP/ Buzzsaw/VaultCreate DWFx submission SetExport Navis Views (NWC) : Use External tool from Add-in (<2013)• Use Option "SHARED COORDINATES"• Current View - Better Coordination in Navis. Clash Detective can isolate areas

better.• Include Properties/Parameters• Do not include links
