The Dog Days of Summer
Welcome to the dog days of summer, a time when we hopefully can get away and enjoy some lazy time near water or in the mountains or somewhere else relaxing. If you see Rebecca Abner, congratulate her on her one year anniversary at The Chamber office. We appreciate her and the good job she does. David has
dubbed her as our Director of First Impressions. She and the rest of the staff are getting into gear with prep work for the Spoonbread Festival. September will be here before we know it. Not to mention that the staff is also busy supplying infor-mation to the accounting firm tasked with our audit. Good news, the Golf Scramble was a success with the rain holding off until the event was finished. As has become custom, Nola Newman will be hosting the July membership meeting around the pool at her home. Always such a gracious hostess, we thank her for her hospitality. Blessings, Teresa Scenters, President Berea Chamber of Commerce
