WORK WITH TALENT STUDENTS AND SCIENTIX RECOURSES

LDV Partnership GATE Project,

Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, 22-25 Marth 2015

Looking For Talents

Stop waiting for talents to appear Inspire students to study science Include parents Find other talented people Entre examen at school Check is talent students was indentificaited at other

school Teaching and learning strategies which support the

identification of gifted and talented learners.

Looking For Talents

Learning strategies: InGenius questinnaries for teachers and students Very important is student to recognize, that if

they study STEM, will have more good work, will have clean work, more good salary, will use modern technology, work will be interesting.

Indicators of gifts and talents related to phase

Some children display signs of high ability at an early age. The stage at which high potential is demonstrated will vary

from one child to another. Teacher observation and informal assessment play an

essential part in recognising high potential, particularly in the case of very young children.

Needs fewer steps in process. Questions rules/authority. Development. Enjoys increased pace. Gets cross if task too easy/hard.

Indicators of gifts and talents related to phase

We can find talent students by asking decide different tacks.

We can ask them to made research by special software or by virtual laboratory

We can inspire students to study science by history about fames science

We can use science games and crosswords We can visit firms

Indicators of gifts and talents related to phase

We can made webinars and videoconference with science people – we do this with astrophysics and geophysics

We can organize excursion to the museums and laboratory – we visited science museums in Sofia and science laboratory

We organized Virtual visit with Cern Participate at olympiades and contests

What is EUN?

European Schoolnet (EUN) was established in 1997 as a non-governmental organization of 31 Ministries of Education in Europe, which provides major European education portals for teaching, learning and collaboration. European Schoolnet (EUN) provides major European education portals for teaching, learning and collaborating and leads the way in bringing about change in schooling through the use of new technologies and innovative teaching methods.

European Schoolnet (EUN)

Promoting the use of ICTand digital technologies in the classroom

Promoting the European dimension in schools

Improving the quality ofeducation in Europe

Three areas of interest: services to schools, research and innovation, sharing of learning resources

What is Scientix?

European Commission launched 2009 a project Scientix, managed by European Schoolnet (EUN) on behalf of DG "Research" and funded by the 7th Framework Programme.

Scientix portal http://scientix.eu offers a resource repository of hundreds of educational materials from European projects, research reports, and opportunities for access to documents; options for filing an application for transfer of learning materials in the 23 languages of the European Union.
