KEEPING PEOPLE SAFETo ensure that training was relevant to Air New Zealand processes and procedures, our knowledgeable consultants worked with the team at Air New Zealand to adapt permit to work course material to suit Air New Zealand’s practices. Wood Group’s expert training consultants then facilitated the permit to work training at the employees’ place of work.
Since conducting the permit to work course, Wood Group Training has continued to work with Air New Zealand to facilitate and coordinate further training.
TRAINING FOR REAL LIFE SITUATIONSAir New Zealand was seeking quality permit to work training for its employees. They wanted to ensure that training was comprehensive and relevant to their current policies and procedures. Due to Wood Group Training’s flexible training solutions and quality reputation as a training provider, Air New Zealand turned to our expert team to facilitate and coordinate permit to work training for their employees.
AIR NEW ZEALAND CASE STUDY
“The end result was high quality, bespoke permit to work training for Air New Zealand, referencing their current processes and work environment” said Wood Group Training Health and Safety Advisor. “Air New Zealand could rest assured that the training received by their employees was of a high standard and could easily be transferred to their normal work environment.”

incorporating Air New Zealand practices as well as best practice and current legislation.

work environment and go home safe each day.
KEEPING PEOPLE SAFETo achieve Honda’s goal, the expert team of safety consultants from Wood Group Training conducted a thorough review of Honda’s health and safety policies and procedures, comparing these to legislative requirements. The Wood Group Training team overhauled Honda’s procedures and put together a customised health and safety plan that could be applied across all Honda branches throughout New Zealand.
With an NZQA compliant health and safety plan in place, Honda was confident that their employees were working safely and they were prepared for changes to legislation. Wood Group Training continues to work with Honda to ensure the successful implementation of their health and safety plan.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESHonda New Zealand approached Wood Group Training after realising that their health and safety systems had not been reviewed for many years. Honda selected Wood Group Training to conduct a review of their health and safety systems due to their extensive knowledge of legislative requirements and customer-centric approach. Wood Group Training worked in partnership with the team at Honda to update their health and safety policies and procedures to meet best practice.
HONDA CASE STUDY
“Honda had established sound safety systems but needed to update their practices to meet changes to the Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure consistency across their seven New Zealand branches” said Wood Group Training Health and Safety Project Lead.
THE RESULTS• Honda received an up to date health and safety plan, incorporating best
practice solutions and current legislation.• Consistent safety procedures were implemented across Honda’s seven New
