WNY Audit Trail

April President’s Letter Opportunities Abound!

It’s hard to believe the Chapter year is almost over, but I feel like we have saved one of the best events for last. If you haven’t signed up for our May event please do so! IIA Global President and CEO Richard Chambers will be speaking to our chapter on Monday May 4th at the Saturn Club downtown. After, Mr. Chambers will also conduct a book signing (books will be available for purchase) and his topic of discus-sion, Lessons Learned on the Audit Trail, is sure to be enlightening. This is a can’t miss event and it is an honor to have Mr. Chambers come to Buffalo and for our members to be able to network with the IIA Global President and CEO. This is your opportunity to directly speak with Mr. Chambers and hear about his experiences over his long career, as well as what is going on around the world in the Internal Audit profession. As the Chapter year winds down, I would ask you to start thinking of the future. What did you like from this Chapter year and what do you think could be improved? Feedback is greatly appreciated and will be used to make your WNY IIA Chapter a great professional resource and commu-nity for all its members. Be on the look-out for our annual Member sur-vey or feel free to share your feedback with any one of our Officers or Board members. Opportunities are also available to become involved by volunteering for the Financial Controls Committee and the Events Planning Committee, please see the flyers within this newsletter for ad-ditional information and how to get involved. Thank you again for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at our future events. Regards, Len Soldano
