Salman Sayyid is based atthe University of Leeds, and

has written widely onIslamophobia, including a co-

edited volume ‘ThinkingThrough Islamophobia’. His

numerous publicationsexplore the postcolonial

condition and have beentranslated into a number of

languages including Persian,Turkish and Arabic.
