• The slide master holds information about formatting and text that displays on every slide in a presentation, including: – Placeholder positions – Background design – Theme formatting – Bullets and font styles

• After a slide master has been designed and customized, it can be:– Saved as a template
– Applied to any presentation that you create

Object Order Option Table
Gradient Fill Option
Description
Preset colors Built-in gradient fill color options.
Type There are five types of gradient fills—linear, radial, rectangular, path, and shade from title—which determine the angle and direction from which the gradient fill is applied.
Direction and Angle Determine the progression of colors from one area of the slide to another.
Gradient stops Determine the color, position, and transparency values of the gradient fill. Each color used in the gradient fill must be included as a gradient stop.

– exporting PowerPoint slides to Word
– saving a PowerPoint presentation for viewing on the Web

• Text in bulleted lists in a PowerPoint presentation – Based on an outline
– Bullets are assigned to varying outline levels
• Microsoft Word outlines using Word paragraph styles can be imported into a PowerPoint presentation.

• When the outline is imported, – text is converted into slide titles and bullet
levels based on the styles in the Word outline
– text formatted with the Heading 1 style is converted to a slide title
– text formatted with a Heading 2 or Heading 3 style is converted to bullet points
