Statewide: Annual Nonprofit Conference

Every year, hundreds of nonprofit leaders from all over Idaho attend the statewide nonprofit conference. Here is what they have to say:

“I really enjoy the opportunity to talk with other nonprofit employees”....“Good way to network”....“Very informative sessions, great presenters, and good networking opportunities”…“Never miss!” …“Good opportunity for professional development”…“This conference exceeded my expectations, I'm leaving with many tools that will enhance my job.”

Nationally: National Council of Nonprofits

Idaho Nonprofit Center members have automatic membership in the National Council of Nonprofits.

By linking local nonprofit organizations across the nation, the National Council helps small and midsize nonprofits manage and lead more effectively, collaborate and exchange solutions, engage in critical policy issues affecting the sector, and achieve greater impact in their communities.

Nonprofit Day at the Legislature

Nonprofit Awareness Week

Nonprofit Center Code of Ethics

Nonprofit Day at the Legislature

The day includes issue updates,

advocacy training for nonprofit

leaders, time for appointments with legislators, and a

luncheon with legislators as our

guests.

Keynote addresses remind legislators of the

vital role of nonprofits to their communities back

home and the critical value of

nonprofit-government

partnerships.

The Nonprofit Center also sends Public Policy Alerts

to members to keep them posted on legislation of interest to the

nonprofit sector.

For the past four years, the Idaho Nonprofit Center brings together nonprofit leaders and legislators for a day to focus on issues of importance to Idaho’s nonprofit sector.

Nonprofit Awareness Week

A top priority for Nonprofit Center members is to increase public understanding and support so that nonprofits can continue to do their best work. The Nonprofit Center mobilizes 501c3 nonprofits to focus public awareness on the contributions made by nonprofits to the quality of life in our communities.

Nonprofit Center Code of Ethics

Public trust is our most valuable asset—we cannot exist without it. By encouraging Members to adopt the Nonprofit Center Code of Ethics, the Idaho Nonprofit Center promotes a nonprofit sector that is:
