Five steps for successful grassroots fundraising

1. Look within your own community

2. Incorporate fundraising into your day-to-day work.

Make your income and expenses public information

Be sure that fundraising planning and implementation is the responsibility of a volunteer committee and is not solely done by paid staff

Make a fundraising plan and follow it.

3. Take Positive Action

Attend other groups’ events and meetings
