WHAT ISHot Aisle Containment?

Hot aisle containment is an air flow management arrangement designed to regulate & contain the temperature inside a data center enclosure.

Wondering how it works? Follow our explanation of the hot aisle containment process and how data center panels manage airflow.

In hot aisle containment models, hot air rises & is directed toward return ducts away from the inside of

a server enclosure.

This air is then cooled by the air conditioning units and returned to the areas around the server racks to keep them cool.

This air flow management model can be customized for nearly any server layout.

Soft panels, rigid panels or strip panels, as well as containment accessories are utilized in hot aisle containment to control air flow patterns, maintain temperature zones & help to keep the enclosure clean

and free from contaminants.

Data center enclosures are custom designed to your specific server rack

layout.

The hot aisle containment plan provides efficiencies in air flow management for data centers.

Hot aisle containment models effectively eliminate hot spots that may arise in data centers.

Additionally, hot aisle airflow management reduces short cycling of cooler air to prevent overcooling & reduce

energy costs.
