Office HoursOur office is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday - September 3rd, 2012.

Submitting Documents – STEP 1Pick up Instructions for submitting

Documents to International Admissions & the Provisional Admission - Document Submission (PADS) Form

Follow instructions.Required documents are indicated on the

Provisional Admission checklist included in your I-20 packet. Undergraduate – BLUEGraduate - YELLOW

Submitting Documents – STEP 2Photocopies can be made at the Silverman

Library located on the 1st floor of Capen Hall. Take stairs or elevator to 1st floor in Capen Hall.

Return to 17 Capen Hall to submit completed PADS form and all required original documents and photocopies.

Staff will take documents and give you the pink Student Receipt.

Submitting Documents – STEP 3At the allotted time, bring pink Student

Receipt with you to retrieve your original documents:-Documents submitted before 12:00 noon can be picked up the same day after 3:00pm.

Documents submitted after 12:00 noon can be picked up the following business day after 3:00 pm.

Submitting DocumentsA completed Provisional Admission -

Documents Submissions (PADS) FormYour original degree certificate/diplomaPhotocopy of each original degree

certificate/diplomaOriginal transcript/marksheets received

in sealed university/college/institution envelope – DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE – (these become property of UB and WILL NOT be returned to you).

Capen Café and Sitting AreaPlease make use of the spacious and comfortable seating area outside of our office located right by Capen Café.

Picking up your documentsDocuments submitted before 12:00 noon can be picked up the same day after 3:00pm

International Student OrientationAn International Student Orientation

program for newly admitted students is scheduled for August 18-25, 2012.

For more information about International Student Orientation, please visit the International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) office located in 210 Talbert Hall.

What happens during orientation?You will receive important information about:

obtaining a University identification cardsetting up e-mail, bank and cell phone accountstaking language tests (if required)meeting your academic advisorregistering for classesusing the University libraries, computing, health

and recreation servicesunderstanding University rules, regulations and

academic culturemaintaining proper immigration status as an

international student
