ANNOUNCEMENTS• 2012 CHEER AND DANCE TECHNIQUE CLINIC

• Saturday, February 4th • 10:00-12:00 @ VBHS Saferoom

• Only $10.00• If you are currently in the 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade and are interested in trying out for

Cheer or Dance at the Middle School, Freshmen Academy or Sr. High level, then this is the place for you!!!

• Come and brush up on the specific techniques and skill that will help you do your very best the week of tryouts!!!

• The clinic will be taught by VBHS Spirit Squad Coaches Heather Dean and Mari Newby with the help of their current seniors/juniors on the High School Cheer and Dance Teams

• Wear comfortable gym-appropriate clothes that you can move in easily and soft soled tennis shoes or dance shoes.

• This clinic is recommended for all girls trying out for Middle School, Freshmen Academy, and High School Cheer or Dance, but it is NOT required for tryout eligibility.

ANNOUNCEMENTS• 2012-2013 CHEER AND DANCE MANDATORY PARENT MEETINGS

• Parents please note the important dates below. The parent meeting prior to tryouts is MANDATORY in order for your child to eligible to try out. At these meetings parents will receive a spirit squad handbook and all tryout information. Spirit Coaches will explain all the changes, what games each team will attend, anticipated practice schedules, camp dates, cheer competitions, etc… Principals and Head Spirit Coaches will also be at these meetings to explain scheduling changes and address any questions.
