Welcome to Taskstream HOW to ADD FINDINGS

A few notes before you get started:

• It is important that all attachments, score sheets and artifacts are named exactly as shown on the next slide.

• All ISLO and PSLO score sheets need to be in an excel format.• It is also important to make sure when putting Findings in Taskstream that you are in the

2016 Assessment Cycle and in Fall 2016 FINDINGS.

It is critical that score sheets andartifacts are named exactly as demonstrated.

Click on the LOGIN to take you to the log in page

First.Last@ojc.edu

This should have been created when you first logged in.

Click on this if you forgot your password.

Click on the Program Level Workspace you wish to work in.

You will be working in 2016 Assessment Cycle.

To add Findings, you will want to clickOn Assessment Findings in the 2016 Cycle.

Any time you work in Taskstream, the section you are working in must be Checked Out. Simply click on the Check Out button and you will be ready to work.

While you are working in Taskstream no one else can work in the same section.

This is the area where you will add findings. Notice the Measure from the Assessment Plan is visible. This gives you information from the assessment plan at your fingertips.

To add Findings, click on the Add FindingsButton or….

For Fall 2016 make sure you

enter FINDINGS for the Fall

Spring Findings will have already been completed

Fill in each box.It will be helpful if you put the Semester, Fall 2016, and your name whereyou begin your information. Do the same in each box.

Fall 2015 – Mr. OJC FacultyThis is where you should put the results (data) from your assessment. How manytook the assessment? What is the overall average of the column(s) from the score sheet? Some programs will have only one column from the score sheet, others may have 2 or more. List the column name and give the overall average which can be found at the bottom of the column on the excel score sheet.

For an example see the next slide.

Fall 2015 – Ms. OJC Faculty Was there something different about the class taking this assessment? Was there something that you did to teach the class differently than in the past? Information you feel is importantabout the class or assignment should go here.

Fall 2015 –Mrs. OCJ Faculty What will you do to get different results next time you do this assessment? Was there one area where students did not do as well? What will you do to strengthen that area?What might you do to make the assignment more challenging?

If someone in your program has already submitted Findings, you will need to hit the EDIT button, add your Findings,

To add score sheets and artifacts, click on the Add/Edit Attachments and Links button. This is just like adding an attachment to an email

10 students completed this assignment with the following individual criterion results:Principles of set theory – 3.28 pts on a 5 pt scaleMathematical Modeling - 2.89 pts on a 5 pt scaleProbability - 2.44 pts out of possible 5 pts

This data may be preliminary shortly after the semester ends but will help complete reflections and notes while everything is still fresh in your mind. When faculty returns at the start of a new semester data will have been aggregated so notes/reflections and recommendations can then be tweaked before final submission for review.

If you are the only one completing this criteria, pleaseIndicate if the criteria was Not Met, Met or Exceeded.

If there are others from your program that will be addingFindings to this criteria please leave this blank until your program can look at the data altogether.

When Findings are complete, hit theSubmit button.

To add score sheets and artifacts, click on the Add/Edit Attachments and Links button. This is just like adding an attachment to an email

If you are adding a new file, click on the Choose a File button and follow the directions

This is what it should look like after you attach your file.Follow the same steps to attach more files.

Once you have added Findings and files this is what the final product will look like.

You may continue to work on other criteria findings from this space or Log Off.

When finished, Check In by clicking the Check In button so others can work in this area.

Once the section is Checked In, this is what you will see. You can hit the Return to the Work Area button which willtake you back to Findings. You can then go to other areas.

When you have completed your Findings and are ready to quit working in Taskstream, click the Log Out button.

Once you are logged out you will return to this page.
