By Baptism: For one who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and desires to obey
Christ by being baptized by immersion.
By Letter: For one who is saved, has been baptized by immersion after being saved
and is a member in good standing of another Baptist church.
By Statement: For one who has been saved and baptized by immersion after being
saved, but is not a member of another Baptist church.
Come forward during the invitation at the end of the worship service and tell the pastor
that you want to become a member of FBCG, and we will take care of the rest.

Sunday, April 30th: Youth will be having a spaghetti luncheon after late service to raise money for summer camp.
May 7th: Senior recognition Sunday and luncheon after late service. Students need to be gathering 2-3 pictures for slideshow. Please give to Ken Patterson.
Camp: July 16-21. If you are planning to go to camp, there will be a meeting Wednesday @ 5:45 at the Lodge. We’ll be discussing the fundraiser.

Stamps and Stationery!! These items make wonderful gifts for our friends at Marshall Manor Nursing Home. Note cards, all occasion cards, and stamps give residents the independence to send greetings of their own to friends and family. Nothing gives quite the good feeling as keeping in touch with those who are, or have been, a special part of your life. Thank you, church family, for your loving hearts!
FBC Ladies Retreat
FBC Ladies Retreat , Living Deeper with Jena Forehand, www.jenaforehand.com, will be held at Goose Pond Colony, 417 Ed Hembree Drive, Scottsboro, AL 35769, August 25th -27th 2017. Lodge rooms and cottages are available, however, if you would like to attend but do not wish to stay the night you are welcome! Space is limited sign-up forms available in the church office and classrooms. The retreat is currently open to only ladies from former FBC retreats and First Baptist Church, friends and family. After April 30th if spots are still available it will be open to anyone who would like to attend. Please turn forms into Cindy Glassco, Jean Ann Scott, Belinda Stricklin or Regina Lee.
Adam Johnson from Ratio Christi will be here Wednesday, April 26 at
6:30pm, in the Sanctuary. Everyone is invited to attend.
Ratio Christi is a global movement that equips university students and
faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific reasons for
following Jesus Christ.
