-In Middle School, homework often means for students to complete unfinished assignments from class, as well as to study each night. I also ask students to READ daily.
Reading is part of each night’s homework
assignment. The more students read…the
better readers they become. Students will be allowed to go to the Media Center on a biweekly
basis as far as it is possible.
Class Expectations & Materials Students should have Language Arts
notebook with them everyday which includes:– Glossary of Literary Terms, Daily Notes/Work– Notebooks WILL be checked for following
directions and for completeness
Students will keep a writing journal in the classroom.
Students should have a folder to help them organize their work and papers.
