Before I started the MCBS program, I was feebly attempting to carve out the career of my dreams through the likes of YouTube.

I had always lacked direction in terms of my professional success and put off going to college for 6 years because of it.

I had always thought that I wanted to act or model.

This dream was initiated after getting recruited into the industry as a teenager.

The industry fascinated me but the results just weren’t happening.

I was working towards my goal constantly, but at the end of the day, I hardly had anything to show for it.

But then I realized that as much as I loved those things, they didn’t offer direction or feasible stability in the long run.

This fact, coupled with the insane schedules and physical requirements, of modeling specifically, I decided to try and find another way to do what made me happy.

Because of that I let my passion go for sometime and began to look for a way to incorporate all of my other passions into my career choice.

After a corporate job in PR, I discovered my love of marketing and design but a complete distaste for corporate settings and structure.

Because of that I discovered the opportunities YouTube had to offer for someone like me who loved writing, acting, filmmaking, marketing, and design.

I dove in headfirst without a clue of what exactly I needed to do.

I am extremely critical of my creative work and none of my videos seemed to meet my creative standards.

Because of that I tried my best to blindly navigate my way through the creation of a proper and decent channel that people would want to watch.

I did this for about 9 months with little results, until finally I realized I had a lot to still learn and was encouraged by my husband to enroll in college for what I love.

And ever since, I decided to pursue my passion for media communications through the application of what I learn to my channel.
