Stage Crew

Before The Show

❖ Attend rehearsals from when your stage manager asks you to.

❖ Attend construction times if you are available and required.

❖ Take notes during rehearsals to give yourself a thorough working knowledge of the show.

During the Show

❖ You take your orders directly from your stage manager or assistant stage manager.

❖ Wear black clothing and footwear unless otherwise stated.

❖ Remain in wings while the show is running.

❖ Know your cues and pay close attention for any additional cues from

your stage manager.

❖ Change sets and scenery etc... as directed by your stage manager or assistant stage manager.

❖ Be aware of cast in the wings, especially when moving sets.

After the Show

❖ Check with your stage manager if the floor needs to be swept or

mopped.

❖ Prepare the stage for the next performance.

❖ After the season has finished please turn up for pack-out to help

make it run smoothly.

❖ Please remove all personal belongings by pack-out day.

❖ Need to be able to cope under stress

❖ Need to be reasonably fit and healthy

❖ Need to be able to listen to orders and follow them implicitly

❖ Need to be cheerful and friendly
