Angus Cattle Angus cattle, known as Aberdeen Angus in most parts of the world, are a

breed of cattle commonly used in beef production.

HerefordHereford (cattle) is a beef cattle breed, widely used both in intemperate areas

and temperate areas, mainly for meat production.

Holstein Friesian cattleHolstein Friesians are a breed of cattle known today as the world's highest-

production dairy animals.

CharolaisThe Charolais is a breed of taurine beef cattle from the Charolais area

surrounding Charolles, in Burgundy, in eastern France.

ShorthornThe Shorthorn breed of cattle originated in the North East of England in the

late 18th century.

Texas LonghornThe Texas Longhorn is a breed of cattle known for its characteristic horns, which can extend to 7 ft tip to tip

for steers and exceptional cows, and 36 to 80 in tip to tip for bulls.

JerseyJersey cattle are a small breed of dairy cattle. Originally bred in the Channel Island of Jersey, the breed is

popular for the high butterfat content of its milk and the lower maintenance costs.

BrangusA Brangus is a hardy and popular breed of beef cattle, a cross between an Angus and a Brahman. An animal

eligible for registration as a Brangus cattle is 5/8 Angus and 3/8 Brahman

Dexter Cattle Dexter cattle are the smallest of the European cattle breeds, being about half the size of a

traditional Hereford and about one third the size of a Friesian milking cow.
