Use planners, diaries & calendars

• Be able to see the big picture – use a yearly or term planner and use a monthly calendar as an overview

• Use a family calendar if you have lots of extra-curricular commitments, or colour-code your calendar

• Add assignments / appointments to a weekly calendar

• Make up a weekly study planner and plan time for homework and revision as well as sport and music commitments

• Know when your assignments are due

• Break assignments up into manageable chunks and do something on each assignment every day (or couple of days)
