Project Timeline

•2014 - 2015: Scheduled 5th St. repaving delayed pending Walker’s Point Action Plan completion and community determination on street design.

•Spring 2015: Walker’s Point Action Plan completed

•June 2015: Presented paving options to community

•July 2015: Gathered community input

•August 2015: Select street design option

Project Timeline

•September 2015: Tax Incremental District project plan presented to Common Council.

•Fall – Winter 2015: DPW design and engineering, including working with businesses to address concerns (parking, access, etc.)

•Spring - Summer 2016 – Begin street reconstruction (3 – 4 month construction period)
