Step 1 “Ready”

• Non Dominant foot pointed toward target.

• Non dominant hand straight out with the ball in hand.

• Other hand holding ball in place.

Step 2 “Open”

• Arm is at a 90 degree angle

• Make sure when you look at your arm you can see your elbow.

• Hand is straight, and ready to hit the ball.

Step 3 “Lift”

• Lift the ball up to the level of your hand so you can hit the ball as proficiently as possible.

• After you lift the ball you will step with your non dominant foot to the ball.

Underhand Serve

• Place the ball on your non dominant hand

• Make a fist with your other hand and using a swinging motion hit the ball with your fist over the net.

• The jump serve has the same cue words as the standard serve instead of the “step” cue you jump in the air and hit the ball.
