Build 2015 Conference• This conference happened in Moscone Center ,San Francisco,

April 29 – May 1.

• The Microsoft BUILD conference is typically a time when a lot of developer tools are released

• The very short version released is:Visual Studio 2015 Release Candidate (RC). Team Foundation Server 2015 RC.Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 RC.

• And also a preview of a new tool that runs on MacOS, Linux, and Windows called Visual Studio Code.

Prerelease Software Downloads• Prerelease software enable us to provide early and

frequent builds of our products under development.

Preview • Enable us to provide more frequent releases to solicit early feedback

Beta • Software is an early build release that is not quite ready for use in production environments.

Release Candidate

• (RC) software is a version of the product (usually the most recent) that is deemed complete and stable enough to become the released version.

Released Version

• Version that is complete enough for use in production environments.
