Action/AdventureConventions:- Focussed on single player story- Features fighting or combat- Often features platform/puzzle/exploration gameplay

- Not so much defined by type of story, instead it’s about the gameplay

Task 1Using the template on Fronter, create a mood board for the first two main genres we’ve looked at. You might include:

- Gameplay images- Associated items- Words- Real world images

RPGRole Playing GameConventions:- Often Fantasy or Sci-fi setting- Ability to ‘level up’/gain abilities- It’s asking you to play the role of a character (often includes choices)

RPG - Examples

SportsConventions:- A sport… obviously- Yearly updates- Focus on details not big overhauls- Official licensing (eg player/team names)

Remember to include a variety of things on the board.
