Using the Overdrive app on AndroidDevices

1) (A) Download the OverDrive App from the Google Play store and open it. (B) Select “Sign up” to create an Overdrive account.

2) (A) Enter your name, email, and create a password. Select “Sign up.” (B) Touch the Menu icon to open the main menu options.

3) (A) Touch “Add a Library.” (B) Enter your zip code and touch “Search”.

4) (A) Select any Wake County library. (B) Touch the star to save. (C) Touch “Wake County Public Libraries” to go to WCPL eBook collection.

5) (A) First, login to set up default loan periods. Touch the “Account” icon. (B) Enter card number & PIN. Touch Sign in (Tip: check “Remember my login…” to avoid having to login each time)

6) (A) Touch “Settings”. (B) Choose your lending period (7 or 14 days). Touch “Done.” You will not get the option to change this during check out period.

7) (A) To browse eBooks, touch -> “eBook Fiction” -> “All Fiction” (B) Touch “Only Titles with Copies Available” for currently available titles. Select a title to check out.

8) (A) Touch “Borrow”. (B) The screen should switch to your Bookshelf. If it doesn’t, touch the “Account” icon.

9) (A) Touch “Download”. (B) Select “Adobe EPUB eBook” from any format options that appear. (C) Click “Confirm and Download.”

10) (A) You will see a “Loading New Title” message. (B) Touch the menu icon and select “Bookshelf”.

11) (A) Select the book to open it. (B) Enjoy!
