How many ways can we search?

Let’s say you would like a book about origami, the Japanese art of paper folding.

• Go to the search option drop down box. Which term should you select?

• Type the word “origami”.

• Click on GO.

How many hits did you get? What are the call numbers of the books?

Are the books checked in or checked out?

This time, we’ll search another way. Let’s say that you are looking for a book that has

Wayside School in its name.

• What information do you have about the book?

• What kind of search should we do?

Since we know the name of the book, let’s search by Title Keyword. Click GO to see the search results.

What happened? I know I’ve seen those books in the library!

Let’s try it again with correct spelling.
