EXPECTATIONS To graduate from the University HonorsProgram students must maintain a 3.25+ cumulative GPA and complete 30 hours of Honors credits.

First and Second Years

• Earn 18 hours credit in Honors sections of core courses.

• Complete 30 hours of credit per academic year. (30n3, 60n6).

Third and Fourth Years

• Earn 3 hours of Honors credit per semester through Honors Contracts or Honors sections.

Commitment • Meet with the Director of the Honors

Program and peer mentor each month. • Attend weekly Honors study hall. • Participate in at least three Honors

events per semester.

The University Honors Program is a vibrant community of scholars who share a passion for learning, exploring and creating. The Honors Experience is more than an academic program; it combines an intellectually stimulating curriculum with meaningful cultural, social and service opportunities

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Admission to the University Honors Program is competitive with scholarships available for exceptional applicants. Applicants meeting two or more of the following criteria receive priority: • High School GPA 3.5+ • Graduation Rank Top15% or Better • SAT 1200+ or ACT 26+

Applicants meeting one or more of the following criteria are invited to submit additional documentation to demonstrate academic achievement, extracurricular involvement and community service. • High School GPA 3.5+ • Graduation Rank Top 25% • SAT 1100+ or ACT 23+

Al l h igh ly qua l i f ied students are encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed holistically throughout the year.
